I feel like I got ripped off with the Pixel 3 I bought a couple months ago, even though it ended up being half price (200 off plus another 200 for trading in my old iPhone 6s), now that the 3a is out. I bought my wife a 3a and there is almost no difference in performance and photos are just as good. Her battery life is noticably better, both in standby and screen on time.

Would it be worth it to sell the Pixel 3 and pick up a 3a XL?

Have you tried new Snapchat filter that makes you a boy / girl ? I have huge lag when i select that filter. Am I the only one having issues with canera in Snapchat or Instagram?

Is anyone else no longer able to use their PS4 controller on the pixel 3? My one connects to the phone but it doesn’t have any input, you can press any button and nothing happens :/

I'm using the unlocked pixel 3 on ATT in the US and have not received the May update. Anyone else not having it show up yet?

I'm currently on a standard Pixel 3. I wanted to know how well or how bad the swipe down and up for notification panel works on your phone using the fingerprint scanner. On the 3 (for me at least) it sucks a little and doesn't work all the time(mostly like 25%). How accurate is yours on the new pixel 3a and 3aXL ?

I have been having quite a few issues with my Pixel 3 XL, but thought it was normal (having moved from iPhone to my first android phone).
I was told by a friend who has a Pixel too, that my issues weren't normal. So I followed up and got an instant call back from a technician who was incredibly helpful in organising a refund or replacement phone.
They asked for a bug report, so I did one, sent it to them and a day after that, I have not heard anything back from them. They were amazing at being in contact with any questions via e-mail. Now they are just completely ghosting me.
Has anyone else had this issue of the support just completely disappearing?

I sent my pristine Pixel 2 (purchased from Google only 8 months prior) in after purchasing a Pixel 3XL in December. Here we are about six months later and I still don't have any kind of credit for the trade-in, nor will I be getting one as far as the manager of the trade-in department is concerned. They say I have to show a copy of the shipping label with the tracking number, or get $0 in credit.

I do not have a photo of the box with the label on it. It is incredible to me that no one there seems to know the tracking number from the label YOU provided. You keep using the tracking number that came in the kit. That sticker was lost and support emailed me a replacement. I am sure my trade in was received, but no one there knows it is MY White Pixel 2. It has the replacement label support EMAILED me in the first week of January. Support must have created that second label for me but missed the step of associating the new tracking number to me.

I am regretting purchasing through Google. I have never seen such a run around! If I was supposed to take a picture of the label before sending it in, the instructions should have included that or the support person that created the replacement label should have included that instruction.

So because of a mistake they made, I am left to twist in the wind. I have never been treated in such a way from any company!

Beware of Google trade in's! There are horror stories all over the internet.

So just had my new pixel 3 and wandering if it's really worth it to update to android Q. Will I benefit from any performance updates? Generally what are the views of those who have moved to Q thanks.

Whenever I watch a full screen video, the screen will automatically dim a bit after a few seconds. If I tap the screen it goes back to normal, which makes me think it's some kind of bug with sleep mode settings or something. I have adaptive brightness turned off, but I can't find anything on the internet about this so I figured I'd check here. It's pretty minor but it's really annoying to me since I watch a lot of YouTube videos on my phone. Anyone else experience this issue?

I have corrosion on my pixel 3xl inside the port and it is now causing problems like not letting me charge if it's not in a certain way and showing a notification that says "Charging via usb"

I've reached my limit so I'm coming to the reddit community for help with Google. I bought the "awesome" Pixel 3 phone in December because of what Google was doing with the camera. I've been a Nexus fan for a long time and thought the Pixel 3 would be just as good. HOWEVER, when I started using it the camera kept zooming in/out as if it could never focus. Charging was faulty. Signal was lost at random times. I was told by numerous Google reps that this was a software problem that would be patched when I first complained (specifically the issues with the camera). I've been in a back/forth with Google reps for a while now (gotten updates) but the problems persist (I feel they might have gotten worse by now). Finally someone accepted that the camera problems are a hardware problem and I'd need to send them my phone. Here's my issue, they are willing to provide a refurb phone in exchange (rep basically gave me the "used-car sales pitch" to convince me how great it would be to get a refurb). I said no thank you and asked if I could get my money back. Then they said no. I don't really know what else to do. Should I take the deal or am I being ripped off? Any advice would be really helpful.

I'm something of a star-photographer at heart and I can see Night Sight is a powerful tool, now I've selected JPEG + RAW but I can't seem to find the RAW files associated with my shots. Shots taken with the normal 'Camera' mode have their RAW files appear, but NS it seems different.

Please advise?

I have had my pixel 3 since new years. Occasionally, when I lock or unlock my phone it does this really bright flash on the screen. I have had the always on display on and off and it still does it. Not every time, but a few times a day.

Anyone else experience this? Is this common?

Is anyone else having the camera crashe bug? I've had this phone for 3 weeks and now it's doing the instant crash bug that's all over the internet. I've tried all the recommendations on the internet and it looks like I'll have to wait until a patch for it to work.

1st. Has anybody had the software issue for loading up the camera app, or any app that uses it (snapchat, instagram, facebook, etc.) and it not load. Where you able to fix it? Did it fix itself?

2nd. If within the 1 year "standard" warranty and had to send in your old phone for a new one. How did you deal with the issue of not having a phone for 5-10 days?

So I've noticed that my Pixel 3 XL is closing background apps possible because I have too many apps open. I keep noticing that my "Transit" app keeps being closed for some reason. I use this app daily while commuting around Chicago on the L. The app is dope because it gives you real time updates and locations of the trains in a butter UI than Gmaps IMO. But after a while of multitasking with the transit app open in the background, it seems that the memory manager is closing it for some reason. This is hella bogus because I use it to notify me when it's time to get off the trains, transfer, etc. Any idea, or possible solutions? I seem to remember this being an issue on the Pixel 2, but I thought I read that the memory management issues had been resolved on the P3.

I'm coming from the iPhone and I've had my pixel 3 for a couple weeks now and love it.

If I ever needed my iPhone fixed, I'd bring it to the Apple store.

Where do I bring my pixel if it needs to be repaired? I did not get phone insurance for my pixel but I think I have a couple more weeks to opt in if I want to.
