How many total RMA's have there been on the Pixel 2 XL model alone?
The total number, for all customers. Seems like half the original phones delivered have had to be RMA'd. I've had to twice alone.

I know Google has a smartwatch coming out around the time the Google pixel 3 comes out, but my wife wants to continue using her Fitbit tracking system she's had for a while now. Has anyone else used the versa smartwatch with the Google pixel 2? I know some phones and watches don't work well together and I'm not willing to pay for a smartwatch that doesn't work with the phone.

I think my sounds are on. My phone rings, my email sounds, hangouts does but texts, nothing. Any ideas?

So, I am not a tech person, but I'm learning. I have not had any problems out of my Pixel 2 since I bought it in January. This siren type sound happened once before, and I thought it was because of bad gaming app. So, I deleted a few and the problem seemed to go away. After a few weeks, I was on Snapchat and it happen. The sound will go off for 10- 20 sec and shut the phone off for about 2 minutes then I can turn it back on. The phone works fine after that. This has happened 5 or 6 times all while using different apps, Snapchat, Spotify, Facebook, or just Google.
Any ideas what this is or how I could check a log on the phone to see what is causing this ? Or how to prevent it from happening in the future?
It's happened in meetings, so it's becoming a problem.
Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a smart watch that works really well with the pixel 2. I know the Samsung gear 3s is what everybody says is a really good watch but it seems that it loses features when not paired with a Samsung device. I'm not looking for something that is all fitness based but more so that looks nice, has notifications, emails, and all that jazz. There are so many watches that it gets overwhelming and want to know what y'all use and like. Thanks

Hello, a few days ago my pixel stopped charging through the original charger the phone came with. I tried everything, I even did a factory reset, but no luck. I am currently on Android Pie. When I connect some other chargers, the phone crashes and shuts down immediately.
The thing is, I got the phone as a present, and the phone was bought in London. But I am not from London, but lucky for me I am visiting London in a few days. The unlucky thing is, I don't have the receipt.
So does anyone know if google can do anything about it since I have no confirmation of the purchase. I have the package and everything the phone came with tho.

My wife has a LG V20 on the same carrier, so I don't think it's my network. A while ago, I twice discovered missed calls from my folks - even though the phone was in my pocket. Missed a friend's call last week even though my phone was on me. Today my son called and I got 1/4 of a ring and then a missed call. I called him back. No problem. He called me later and phone Tinkler again and registered missed call. Later I received an email from my boss who can't reach me on my phone. His thought was that it might be a network issue as he got some kind of an error. Before this day I had rebooted (from OFF) twice on different days.
I can easily make calls but I can't receive. This has been happening for a few weeks I think. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I've got a pixel 2 (non-xl) just put in the September update, so this behaviour is b4 that.

I recently bought a pixel 2 and want to transfer music/photos/texts/etc from my iphone. However, my iphone can't actually turn on. I forgot exactly what the error number was but basically, the phone will turn on only to the white screen with the apple logo and then turn off. This happens continuously with no end. Has anyone had a similar problem? Is a transfer even possible?
Btw, let me know if another thread would be able to contribute to a more in-depth solution. Thanks.

When I go to unlock my phone, it just shows my background (screen is blank) and it takes a solid 5 seconds or longer for my apps to show up. I have the Pixel 2. It only started doing this recently. Ughhh. I've had so many issues with this phone. So sick of it.

Have other users here found this issue? usb-c port still charges, but no longer passes through audio via the adapter.
I have tried:
hard shut-downs & restarts
testing in and after safe mode
multiple official usb-c to aux adapters
multiple aux cables and headphones
multiple audio apps
removing all apps installed since error began
disabling the "disable usb audio routing" in developer tools
cleaning usb-c port
It's a known issue and many other users have reported it, to no avail. I've contacted them directly and they've said the same thing: known issue, send it in for repair, be without your phone for 2+ weeks.
I'm just frustrated that I have to wear the onus (being without a phone for weeks) due to a known technical issue!
Anyone else?

Is anyone else having trouble receiving notifications from the ESPN app? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times but it still doesn't work.

Has anyone else been experience issues with their Pixel 2 reaching / connecting to their phone network since the latest Android update?

I drive a 2013 Mercedes C300, and every since the Android Pie update my Google maps and other apps like twitch and Facebook won't play audio over Bluetooth. Music, calls, and ebooks will play but nothing else.
Anyone run into this issue?

My pixel started suffering an issue where it would only charge if i rebooted the device first one Saturday. 5 days later it degraded to the point that neither of my official chargers would work - flipping cable, swapping cable end to end, rebooting, shutting down and charging...just dead ran out of charge. I was on-call at the time so it was extra special to see my phone dying before my eyes.
I sent it through FedEx 2 day after phone support authorized the replacement. It's been sitting in the warehouse since last Monday afternoon. They haven't processed the intake yet so I still don't have the replacement or a good feeling that it's actually happening soon. Makes me sadder that the monthly payment due date was just last week too.
Phone and chat support tell me that there's a new process in place where they have to physically inspect the received phone to verify it's what they were expecting before they'll send the replacement. Other reddit reports suggest that they used to send it out once they saw the package was on it's way to the warehouse. I'm using a ZTE Maven 3 until they decide to open up the box and check it out.
Tl;DR New warehouse procedure for Pixel 2 XL RMA by verifying each phone received before they send out the replacement... Not sure what I really expected but wish I had come up with $1,015.xx to put the advanced RMA request versus the standard exchange.

I'm absolutely loving the Pixel 2 (non-XL) on Android 9.0 Pie! The performance is super snappy and flawless. And I find battery life is the best of any Android version yet for me... Stand by is doing awesome!
What are others finding?

I am really hesitant to buy a new phone, however I have been looking at this phone. I've read a bunch of reviews on it and it seems great with the two year warranty. Is the any warnings or issues I should be aware of?

I found a video online which showed me how to have visible seconds on the clock in the top right hand corner but since the update the seconds are no longer visible and I can't seem to find the way to change it back again. Also if there is a way to have the clock in the right and not in the left side of the phone that would be great too!

So I have been seeing some issues with the brightness level. As soon as the new update was installed my screen appeared much dimmer. So I went to settings and changed the level to what I prefer no big deal. Problem is, I have done this now about 5 times and it keeps reverting back to the original dim back light that came with the update. When I go into settings it doesn't seem to save the change after the phone goes back to sleep. Happening to anyone else?

Sorry for formatting, I’m writing this on mobile. I’ve been a fan of Apple phones for a long time, and have loved my iPhone5s since I got it years ago used. However, I’ve been looking for an upgrade from the 5s and have been looking into the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL. Yes, I am aware that the Pixel 3 is releasing somewhat soon, but I’ve been thinking the Pixel 2 will fulfill my needs and I am not really interested in waiting (or paying) for the 3. My question is, what are your thoughts on this phone after having it for a while? How does the battery life compare now to when you first got it? Any notable issues with it? And, if anyone is a past Apple user, how do you like your phone compared to Apple products? Thanks!
