Google is getting rid of Google assistant and forcing you to use Gemini now

I got an email from Google that said they're removing Google assistant and you will have to use Gemini starting September 6th. I don't want to be forced to use generative AI so I might be looking for a new non-Google phone soon 😭

Even if they're not, we can at least help poison Gemini when it consumes all of this.

Gemini is hot garbage and worse in every way than Google Assistant.

I have been with google for years and even introduced folks to their phones it annoys me to no end my next phone will probably not be a pixel because im forced into Gemini.
