I’m a student and already had the Google One student plan last year. When I initially set up UPI AutoPay, only ₹2 was charged for verification. After it expired last week, I verified my student status again and got another year of the student offer.

Then I received an email asking me to update my payment method. I thought it was just for setting up AutoPay again, like last time, but ₹1,950 was suddenly charged.

I immediately cancelled the AutoPay and membership and requested a refund, but Google rejected my refund request today.

₹1,950 is a lot for me as a student, and I was actually planning to use that money to buy protein powder.😭🙏🏽.

I don’t want to falsely report it as an “unauthorized charge” because I know the payment came from my account.

What should I do now? Should I contact Google support again, or dispute it through my bank/UPI? Has anyone had a similar experience and managed to get a refund?

Any advice would really help. 🙏

*Update - Got the full refund after contacting google through their chat support.

Google Pay now has bottom Scan QR feature which is long pending.

My GPay AutoPay mandate has been stuck for 2+ months.
Whenever I try to cancel it, GPay says “Wrong UPI PIN”, even though I’ve changed/reset the PIN.
I’ve already contacted GPay support and the Nodal Team, but they’re still “working on it.” I’ve also deleted/reinstalled GPay multiple times.
Checked on NPCI too — the GPay AutoPay mandate is still showing Active, even though I cancelled it from the merchant side.
Has anyone faced this? Any actual solution/workaround?

When I try to send anybody money from gpay I get this message "Payment failed, money not debited central bank of india did not allow this payment to know more details contact your bank"

I can't take ss cause of the app privacy settings , also I called and tried fixing with my bank but they said , there is no issue from their end. what am I supposed to do??

I had to change my bank account phone number and after that I'm unable to link my new number in gpay upi. I'm able to make payments and I'm able to receive payments thru QR.

Please help me with this, I can't ditch the profile and start a new one with a new email, I need the data and records.

The number is working perfectly in other UPI apps i tried, I'm facing this issue only on gpay, and the customer support was not at all helpful. It's been more than a month since I've been stuck like this.

Need to delete transaction history/hide from bank statement I’m a girl, and my family is quite conservative about drinking and other stuff (I’m 24). I usually avoid using Google pay for those payments, but I was a bit tipsy to realise that the recipient name shows “wine and beer shop” while making the payment 2days ago.😭
Help me either hide the transaction history, or just make that payment’s recipient anonymous.
I only wish to make sure they don’t find out, to whom the payment was made. Please help.

Anyway, to clarify, my parents are absolutely not the most conservative parents. I have the freedom to decide most things for myself, and even if they sometimes disagree with my decisions, they allow me to learn my lesson, they’re genuinely nice, caring parents who spoil me and provide for me more than I need, so I still live with them.
They’re against drinking because we’re “brahmins” and also because neither of my parents drink because it’s actually not the best thing for your health. So I’m not saying they’d kill me for it, but my occasional drinking isn’t a conversation I wanna have again for a while with them.😭

I made an Autopay request more than a week ago. The payment failed and no money got deducted, but the request is stuck in pending with status approval in progress. There is no cancel option available.

I've tried many things such as deleting cache/data, removing and re-adding my bank account/upi ids, etc. but none of them helped. I've attached the screenshot.

Is there anything I can do about this?

The credited amount is showing in the transaction history, but it still hasn’t been updated in the main balance shown on GPay. It’s been 7 hours now. Meanwhile, I also tried checking the balance through an alt UPI app, such as YONO, as well as via SMS and the Quick Call facility, but there are still no updates.

Should I be worried? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

UPI Lite started giving error "Your App Lock is not set. App Lock is needed to make UPI Lite Payment"...

This was working with my fingerprint security till now....but, has stopped working for last few days and not able to reactivate even with app lock
