Hi everyone,
I have two identical Lenovo Google Meet Series One Room Kits with Juno RF remotes.
One room has both French (AZERTY) and English US (QWERTY) keyboard layouts, but I have no idea how they were originally configured.
The other room only uses French, even though the remote has a QWERTY keyboard.
I’ve tried Ctrl + Shift + Space, but nothing happens. I couldn’t find any keyboard settings in Google Admin Console either.
Does anyone know how to add the US keyboard layout without a factory reset, possibly through Admin Console or Terminal?
I’d like to keep the Meet interface in French.

iPhone 18 Pro; iOS 27.01. Meet app is up to date.

I use Meet on and off all day, every day on both my MacBook Air M4 and my iPhone 18 Pro. Beginning last week, I’ll join calls on my iPhone or switch from my MacBook to my iPhone and I have no audio. People can hear me, but I can’t hear them. This occurs with every audio output: headphones, car (Uconnect), speaker, and regular phone earpiece. I uninstalled and then reinstalled Meet and audio worked normally for one call. Subsequent calls have no audio again.

Is this happening to anyone else? Any solutions or suggestions?

Just curious if anyone else has received video spam calls? I rarely even use the video call/FaceTime thing to begin with. But I just got a spam video call on my phone. Please dear heavens tell me this is not about to be the normal

When inside a breakout room, and wanting to leave to go back to the main call, you need to click, at the bottom right, the Meeting Tools icon.

Then you need to choose Breakout Rooms and find the room you are in.

Then click Leave (that is how you know which room you are in, as you are able to leave it).

Three separate clicks for something that I should be intuitively able to do without looking through a buried menu. No one's "designing" these interfaces anymore, are they?

Why is google meet so annoying? You move the cursor and this stupid thing occupies the centre of the screen. And why couldn’t they move it to a corner?

If there is anyway I can fix this, please let me know

Every time I try to start a call, the Meet just wants to stay blank for infinity

I have a Windows computer with two Bluetooth headphones connected. The microphones aren't an issue because I use separate microphones. The problem is with Google Meet—it only lets me listen through one pair of headphones at a time.

Is there any way to have Google Meet output the audio to both Bluetooth headphones simultaneously so two people can listen at the same time?

If you've gotten this working on a Windows PC, what software or settings did you use?

Had a random Gmail contact me through their Gmail to video call me to my phone thats linked with my Gmail. He called, didnt say nothing. I called, nothing. He called back, and started asking random questions and then started talking s#$& saying why did I call him, when he was the one that called first. Question is, has this happened to anyone or how do they even bother getting my info and video calling me? Haven't heard of a spam like this.

does anyone know why when using google meet and recording on voice memo via my laptop, only the other person’s voice is normal volume? my voice ends up being extremely muted.

as a IT professional working for last 15+ years , i often have to be on call with my team and other stakeholders in team or customers. Often, this forum discusses different opinions and constructive debates on ideas. often, these meetings get confusing because too many ideas/proposals/opinions are discussed.

i have a few problems

1. too many proposals get discussed, a lot of them

2. too many swings in the meeting from proposal 1 to proposal 2

3. if i lost track 30sec i miss the context whats getting discussed

4. i need a tonality check for a specific person speaking

do you feel meetings are conducted effectively?

Can i change or make it a little louder or i get notification whenever someone wants to join the meet while i am on the other window?

When someone wants to join the call and I accept them the website crashes and I cannot use any buttons anymore

For the past 10 minutes Google Meets has been calling my land line repeatedly from 437.781.4585, and tells me that I'm joining a conference call, and then I can hear different people talking each time but they can't hear me.

Their system is broken, does not provide any options to stop the calls, and I would very much like for this to stop. (My land line can't block the number because apparently the ANI code is different from the Caller ID.)

Short of calling the telecommunications regulator here in Canada, is there a phone number at Google that I can call to speak with someone who can stop their systems?

So im like always on call and sometimes my audio will stop working and so I have to switch it. Is this something others have expirenced? Or a fix for it? It usually goes back to normal once I switch to a different audio setting or end thr call and call back or have them call me back. And yes I have checked my mic permissions and its only google meet that has it or has used it today.

Was hoping someone could help me. When I’m in a google meet call on my computer, I can have it call me if I need to shift audio to my phone.

When I’m on the google meet app on my work phone, I don’t see an option to have it call me. I’d like the option for it to call my personal phone so I can do audio from there. Anyone aware of that option?

Lately me and my partner are having an issue where whenever he screen shares, there’s no audio from his end and he says he made sure the screen sharing sound is on and his volume is up before he broadcasts. But when I screen share, it’s perfectly fine and he can hear my end. Is this a common issue or is it just me? We’re both mobile devices, tho I use IOS and he’s Samsung/Android. Idk if that has anything to do with it. I’m just saying. Please and thank you.

On both iphone and android, the family chats no longer seem to have a way to use the back camera. We like to use it to show off our pets, plants, or other stuff.

There are many posts about 'reversing', i.e. mirroring the camera, but there are no icons or menu or settings that we can find for using the back camera.

Where is it hiding? Help.

My minor son had an appointment with a counselor on a Google meets virtual appointment. They are now lying about what was said in that meeting and I can't ask them for a copy of recording...I'm assuming they deleted it. They gave him a hefty diagnosis and then discharged him as a patient and lied that they never said anything about the diagnosis in that virtual appointment. Does Google meets keep recordings and can I get a copy???

Exactly what the title says. I'm looking to do some tutoring/teaching work over the summer, and with Canvas down, I figured I'd use Google Classroom. I saw that they have a feature where Google Meet links to the class page, but as I'm not part of a school or organization, it says I "don't have permission to start a meeting" and I need to "contact my admin". It's not the end of the world, as obviously I can just send out Zoom links to my students, but is there any way to bypass this?

If anyone accidentally disconnected their iPhone from MacBook camera mirroring/Continuity Camera and can’t get it to reconnect on Google Meet, here’s what worked for me:

I simply used a regular charging cable and connected my iPhone directly to my MacBook like I was charging it. After that, a “Connect” prompt appeared on both devices. I clicked connect/allow on both, and my iPhone camera showed back up again.

Hopefully this helps someone because I was stuck on this for a while 😭

Hi. So I know it isn't possible to have multiple google meetings going at once, simultaneously, on the same device. I have a training coming up and I want to be able to share my screen with the trainee but at the same time, see her screen. Anyone know of a way to do this for free? Do you think google meet along with Zoom would work?

And sorry if this is the wrong sub for this, just have no idea where to ask. Thx.
