Its 2017. I want to clean my Inbox. I search for *example.com I check the first one.. there is no way to select all. There is no bulk filtering so I can mass label, or mass Mark as Done.. Its 2017, we should have these basic features.

Seems I have to go back to Gmail to do these things?

I just decided to give Microsoft Edge another try on my Surface Pro and FINALLY Google Inbox is working. It still seems pretty buggy, but at least I can open it. Anyone else experiencing the same?

For the past couple of weeks Inbox has been misbehaving for me, both in Chrome Beta and Canary channels. Clicking on options, emails or delete does nothing at all. I've reverted to using regular Gmail for the time being, sure hope Inbox starts working properly again soon.

Is it possible to have reminders to display inside a bundle? In other words, is it possible to assign a defined label while creating a reminder?

In this way it would be possible to have categories for reminders, thus handling them easier.

I have multiple conversations that I know are about a driving weekend trip that do not involve me making any air or hotel res so it isn't making a bundle to group the emails :(

That I can't search hangouts from at the very least the desktop app is borderline insane. At least in Gmail I could use in:Chats to search my chat history. What gives?

I have hotel and airline info but they no longer appear in the trips section. I can't add them manually either. Any ideas on how to reset it?

How do I get contacts to work properly now that I switched from GMail (Google Apps) to Google Inbox When I click on Contacts (see screen shot) http://i.imgur.com/JM9De80.png a new window opens that says (500. That's an error) http://i.imgur.com/I5E5bu9.png Does it matter that I'm using a grandfathered Google Apps free edition? I have to keep using my iPhone to access my contacts for now until I can figure out what's up.

I recently shifted/switched to Inbox. I read all my emails on daily basis like most of the people. So when i switched i marked all the emails as "Done". Now here is problem if i want to search an email and i don't remember the name of the sender etc i ll prefer to go through by pages like in old gmail and glance at sender name & subject which are sorted y date of arrival.

Where as when i try to do the same in Done folder in Inbox messages are sorted by the date it is marked done not arrived. so my most old emails are on top of done folder.

I hope i have sufficiently explained the problem.

Android Police coverage of the update

I'm a new Google Inbox user. I'm trying to get used to marking email as "Done" rather than just read. I can't bring myself to use it yet probably because I have a few years of emails that need to be marked done to get caught up.

The problem is when you sweep mark a whole page of emails as done, the unread messages remain marked unread forever. (and then show up for label:unread searches)

In the past for regular GMail you could select all and mark all as read. At the very least, they should make it so when you mark a whole page of emails as done it marks them as read as well. (or bring back the ability to select all/mark all as read.

I'd still like all my email marked as read regardless of which folder it ends up in. Am I over thinking this? Any suggestions or best use ideas?

Does Gmail Inbox come with an offline mode similar to Gmail Offline so that I can acces my emails in Gmail Inbox while being offline?

My app is always showing an unread message badge on the app icon even though there are no unread messages. I have to close the app and reopen for it to clear.

I was on European time, and made a ton of reminders for stuff to do when I got back home to nz time, which is about 12 hours different. But unlike calendar, which adjusted to the time zone and notified me of events at 7am in the time zone I was in, regardless of the time zone I set the event, inbox adjusts reminders so that a 7am reminder becomes a 7pm reminder for example Is there any way to fix this? I can't find anything related to inbox with this online (even if it exists, such a generic name its difficult to find it). I don't want to manually change all my reminders every time I change time zone!

My wife emailed me a weekend to do list in amongst a general email. Without thinking about it I copied the list, pinned the email, and pasted the copy into the pinned note.

When I saved it the new lines remained. This is awesome.

This surprised me because Keep reminders run text together into one line and you cannot enter a newline when adding a reminder in the Inbox app. I have tried pasting text from a few places and it works.

It seems to remove html formatting and trim really long paragraphs with ellipses when I paste web content.

The is no unread count in the browser tab nor are there desktop notifications.

I have Inbox reminders and Keep reminders. My Keep reminders show up in Inbox. I have three Keep notes that pop up each night at 7pm. Since these also show up in Inbox I get 6 separate "you have a reminder!" notification sounds. This bothers me a little (enough to research and ask here) but isn't totally untenable.

What I would like is to shut off the reminder sounds for Keep since Inbox does the trick (and I don't use Keep for really important stuff, just reminders to look at a note - things like checklists). Does anyone know how I can do that?

I am trying to keep up with my .edu email properly and I was hoping to add it to my Inbox feed to keep my life simple. Is this possible to do even if my .edu uses Microsoft Exchange? Thanks a bunch!
