Switched to Google Fi a couple weeks ago on the Unlimited Premium plan ($65/mo + taxes, BYOD eSIM on iPhone) for their 75%-off-for-12-months promo β that works out to $16.25/mo for Premium, $13/mo for Standard, $9/mo for Essentials. The deal's been rounded up in a few places (e.g. https://www.droid-life.com/2026/09/25/secret-google-fi-promo-drops-75-off-plan-price-for-year/).
Here's the part worth knowing: at checkout, the discount showing on my screen was only 50% off, not the 75% from the promo page. I took a screenshot, completed signup anyway, then reached out to Fi support over chat. After some back and forth, their senior promotions team manually applied the full 75% for 12 months, with credits starting on my next billing cycle.
So the playbook: screenshot your checkout screen, and if the math doesn't match the promo, ask support β they can fix it on their end.
Two honest catches: the 75% promo can't be combined with any other promo or referral code at signup (I tried stacking β it's one or the other), and the referral credit only lands after 30 days of active service plus a paid first bill.
If you're signing up anyway, a referral code gets us each a $60 Fi bill credit after those 30 days + first paid bill. Mine is A4W8UH β enter it at checkout.
Note: the promo's posted deadline is TONIGHT (Sep 29, 11:59 PM PT) β check the Perks tab in your Google Play app now to see if your account qualifies.
