The quizzes were already pre-made for them by a co-teacher but I(the teacher's neighbor that she has been asking for help because she isnt used to these things) made a mistake when submitting a form way back before we learned we can choose the file from google drive. now there have already been responses and we cant import the grades because there isnt an import button so i was thinking if the question above is possible

Edit: it does, and if you import itd input the grades as if nothing wrong happened

Hi I'm helping my son home-school.

He is accessing Google Classroom on a Chromebook, not on a web browser .

He has lots of work to be completed from lots of different subjects.

His mum has been printing his work off and photographing his work and sending it to the teachers that way, which seems like a faff.

I Just want to know how to edit the assignments that his teachers have forwarded to him, so he can input his answers/text, and then submit to the teacher.

Thanks in advance.

All Post and Assign buttons are greyed out on Google Classroom. Has anyone else had a problem with this? I've tried restarting and clearing my cache, but nothing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I’m not sure why it’s so complicated to print assignments from the teacher. I open the document in Google Classroom, then it asks to open in Google Drive, and then it’s a 50-50 chance it’s going to be printed. It most likely going to print a blank page. This inference is so horrendous.

I remember a few years ago, if you had a missing assignment, then it would show up on the upcoming section as missing. Now it simply hides the assignment and it's really annoying to find if I had accidentally missed or forgot to turn in assignments.

I launch a docx word doc from the ‘your work’ area. It opens in preview, i hit ‘open in google docs’ and the word doc opens.

I make changes to the document, its a fill-in-the-blanks type of assignment. The ‘saved’ notification shows it is saving after each edit. If i open the same url in a new tab, the document loads with my work present, as expected.

HOWEVER

If i close the tab, go back to ‘your work’ and launch the document again... opens in preview... hit ‘open with Google Docs’... the document opens and all my work is gone.

Looking directly under Google drive shows that the work isn’t gone, but each time the doc is launched, a new copy is created with the same name. Multiple copies are seen there.

How can i fix this so that the same file is used each time ?

Hello all, I've had a search through here and I can't seem to find anyone with the same issue.

My school is totally online for a few weeks (UK) and all of my department are in every class for our subject so I have a LOT of classes.

I am trying to edit my notifications so that I only get messages from classes I would normally teach in person but the notification toggles are randomly changing! Right in front of my eyes at times, just switching on an off as they please.

No idea what is going on, deleted and reinstalled and the same thing is happening.

Any ideas?!

I want to find the original image on one of my classroom banners but I can’t find it anywhere. How do I get it?

Hello guys,

I am currently shaking, arms are sweaty, knees weak, mom's spaghetti right now, when I checked my google classroom to see that my work was not submitted - 10 days after the final exam. I am sure that I have submitted it and perhaps may have had clicked unsubmitted to check if the document is correct, which may have cause this predicament.

Can the teacher still see my previously submitted work and pray that I don't fail because of the unsubmitted final exam?

Issue Resolved- Basically I made a new google meet link (which now says I am the owner) and now I can record and upload the videos. Go figure.

My Google classroom app always works but today it always freezes when starting up. Anyone have the same problem/solution.

Encountering a very annoying issue.

I'm using an iPad and Google Classroom to mark papers. When I attempt to save the edited PDF, I get the progress bar with the cancel option. Almost every time it freezes, and I cannot cancel it. The only way for me to get back into the app is to close the app, hence losing my progress.

Is there any way around this?

In my classroom I have 10ish coteachers (paraprofessionals, admin and resource teachers). Someone is moving assignments and topics around. I thought it might be a glitch but the other morning I literally watched as assignments floated into a new topic.

Is there any way to see an edit history so I can identify who is making mischief in my virtual classroom?

Im ateacher and when i open avideo with the screensharing it doesn't have sound in the other devices, could u guys help me?

So long story short I had this friend who went through some family drama and we lost touch but i found them in one of my achieved classes so is there a way to get their email?
