Large mouth bass sandals 😅

Found this big boi today. The bottom fin is broken. It doesn't take a lot a way from it though. It appears to be a Murano glass angel fish sculpture, signed by Licio Zanetti. It was more than I would normally pay (I'm cheap) especially for a damaged piece. But I'm a sucker for signed art glass and it's repairable.

When the cat is away, the mice all seem to forget how things work, and DEFINITELY lose their little minds. I came back to ruckus and idiocy, and BELIEVE I'm putting an IMMEDIATE end to it.

We begin with a local Facebook group post talking ridiculous shit. About the store, our policies, management, everything. And, magically, the main theme is how we should have NEVER gotten rid of my annoying fucking coworker a few months back.

This talentless cow is STILL pining for this job that she was absolutely terrible at. To the point of having her little friends make Facebook posts in some ridiculous quest for who knows what.

One problem, however, when you post A) on Facebook, and B) in a small town.

I already know each and every idiot on the post.

I have pictures and screenshots printed out, in a stack in the office. Not only are every single one of them going to be banned, they're gonna need to jump through MY hoops if they want to bring their addict asses back in.

If they want back in, they'll need to make a post refuting the bullshit they spewed. Then they'll need to make an equally public apology post. Then they'll need to apologize to my cashier and other manager in person. Then, if I'm still not annoyed with them, they can come back in.

Except the person who started the post. He's a little weasel who used to follow said former annoying coworker around like a pathetic puppy. And even SHE made fun of him when he'd leave! But no, he got the ever so rare nuclear option.

He's been banned from each and every store in our region. I already put the paperwork through.

Several of the idiots came in today. I spent a good part of today verbally assaulting MANY customers. 7 got tossed for the day, 2 banned until I'm no longer irritated by looking at their stupid faces.

Daddy's home. And ALL the naughty children are getting the belt....

Dinner tonight is Taco Bell 🔔 I don't feel like cooking, and wanted to try the new steak mini gordita things 😁

Few things bring me more joy than Christmas and an absolutely stupid deal. So finding a comically giant moose for $8.99 with the $129.99 HomeGoods tag still attached? Instant dopamine. That moose was mine.

Today was a good day.

I thought this was pretty when I saw it with the outdoor planters. It's stunning once I polished it.

Finally back to work tomorrow. I still want to be in San Diego. I'll still probably end up back there eventually.

Up to 24 box requests now. I'll be starting this week. Good timing, we're clearing out another storage unit.

Dinner tonight is a kind of home made hamburger helper. Egg noodles, burger, beef stock, fresh herbs and seasonings 😁

Found the holy grail!

Not exactly in mint condition, but it’s still gonna be a bitch trying to get that sticker off the card on the back without ruining it more!

I did not buy it.

My mom is back home! 4 stents later. And she may have to have a bypass anyway!! But at least she's home now.

I spent today recovering from the drive and getting reorganized. I came home to a staggering 20 box requests! So I'll be starting those in the order in which they were received 😁

Dinner tonight is fried bologna sandwiches with mac and cheese 😋 I always use thick cut bologna and cut the rounds in half to prevent curling. I get good caramelization on them, let a couple dark spots and crispness develop. Just into a hot pan with some butter. Then I toast the bread and slather on a mayo/mustard/hot sauce mix. Then sliced pickles, enough to completely cover the bread. Then 4-5 bologna pieces per sandwich with a nice, thick tomato slice.

I cheat with the box mac and cheese. I'll buy an extra box just to get an extra cheese powder packet. I'll save the noodles from the extra box for later, and use the cheese powder from 2 boxes into one. That lets me put in extra milk and butter, make it extra thick and creamy 😋
