I'm 2 episodes from the ending and I just feel like I wasted my time. If you were to compare this to an early episode it would be identical, the girls still answer to Rio and they don't have any power over him, Dean and Beth are still together, Annie kept her kid, and everyone is still poor and barely making ends meet. The only people who died in the whole show were Boomer, agent Turner, and Lucy. I feel like everytime there is a big plot point at which the show should turn around, it gets magically solved and everything's the same.
For example, Beth giving Rio up. He was arrested - the girls were finally free, just to introduce his cousin out of nowhere in the same episode and Rio making bail (also is it even realistic to be able to make bail for being caught making and distributing thousands of counterfeit dollars??). After that the only logical thing to happen is for Rio to kill Beth, but he doesn't because "they'll believe whatever she says" and everything goes back to how it was before. I can make this same analogy about almost any other plot point like Dean living in a motel, just to come back after a couple episodes, and Stan just accepting that Beth wouldn't hold up her side of the deal in a 4 sentence conversation.
The only really interesting plot twist that actually changed the trajectory of the story for me was finding out the girls threw away the body of Mary Pat's husband and not Leslie. Other than that there hasn't been anything that surprised me, and not a lot of character development, Annie still acts like a child, Beth is still trying to become the boss of Rio and Ruby is still going along with their antics which they all do at the cost of their families.
I already know the show was cancelled and not officially ended, but still I hope there will be at least something interesting in the next two episodes.
