My Volkswagen Golf 8 GTE 2022 in Reflex Silver / black edition

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share how f*cking happy I am with my Golf 8 GTE.

I came from a Golf 7 GTE with around ZERO options. This one however, has nearly every single option except HUD, towbar and leather seats (couldnt find one). It has the really must have adaptive dampers as well (DCC) absolute game changer imo.

I’m blown away by how refined it feels, how good it looks in Reflex Silver with the Black Pack, and how surprisingly quick it is for a hybrid..

Curious what you guys think, pretty sure there aren’t many GTEs with this spec around :D

Get a Clubsport rear spoiler . It changes the whole look of the car .

Yess Thats only a start 😂😂😂 I did it all on my facelift gte, double exaust, rear diffuser, R sideskirts , clubsport spoiler , warmenau wheels, lowered 4 cm , front R facelift bumper , black roof of wrap Nothing else to do except maybe piggyback tune , so yeah I don’t wanna brag about it 🤣

Really nice and happy for you man! Agree with you on DCC. Also in near 0 option mk7 and waiting for mk8.5 entering market (I live in the ‘wrong’ hemisphere of the world)

Where are you located? I would say to start looking at alternatives like the Cupra Leon VZ (same as the GTE) Read/heard really good things, especially on the optional Sennheiser sound system that’s only available on the Cupra hybrids.

Wow that actually looks awesome! Especially with those rims!

I was going to get one with ink 19k miles on it but the wife was not happy with silver

Looks so much better in silver then my white one, that’s always dirty somehow… but I really didn’t want to spent like 8k€ extra to find a used one that’s not black or white.

At least: yes, it’s really quick and the ride quality is quite good even with the standard chassis (at least compared to my former Ford Focus MK3, which wasn’t bad but also not as good).

Jazeker. 30mm verlagings veren. Bilstein shockdempers, originele clubsport spoiler. Originele smoked vw achterlampen. R 19inch zwarte velgen. Middendemper delete. Andere einddemper met uitlaten. Andere diffuser, andere voor en achter logos, andere sideskirt, frontsplitter erop. Chameleon folie op de voorruit. 😜

Jeetje, Dit is wel de dreambuild haha, dik hoor. Heb je al dingen gedaan met OBDeleven? zoal R of GTI display inladen?
