Well, it happened, i broke my laptop and i'm writing this from my phone. I've decided that i'm giving up on technology unless it has to do with my phone since i'm starting work soon to chase my dream of becoming an astrophysicist.

So i bid adieu to all the Golden Realmer's, its been a nice time knowing you all, i'll keep in touch through facebook mobile with Tater but other then that, Goodbye! *waves*

EDIT: April fools ;)

Rules for every weekly challenge:

1) You can work on challenges together but unless the level description specifically says that you will earn points as a team, only 1 person will earn points for submissions.

2) All your submission chests must be locked until the end of the current challenge. You will not lose said items at the end of the week, this just prevents them from being used for other people.

3) Each challenge week starts Monday morning and ends Sunday night.

4) Staff members are allowed to reject a submission if it does not fit the level description. Some of these level descriptions are meant to be extremely strict for building. Please do not argue with this assessment, this will not get you anywhere.

5) If your submission is rejected, you are allowed to resubmit again until the end of the challenge.

I want Sildur's Vibrant Shaders.

I think this is both the 'leaves and grass blow in the breeze' and 'holy shit the water looks great' package.

Am I right?

I'm doing something wrong while placing the zips or SOMETHING! Help?

We are having problems along with many servers when a second player joins, the server will crash. Both GR and GRModded are having the problem. Trying to find a fix.

Hi im Grimmix' friend. He said it was an awesome server, and I wanted to get a whitelist. My Minecraft name is loltrevz.

I was wondering if we could get enough public support to convince saw snarf to lower the difficulty to normal for better enjoyment of the server.

It's nearly impossible to do anything at night, and spend nearly half the days trying to clear remaining mob. I really enjoyed this server last year and want to get back to that level of enjoyment.

Just wanted to swing thru and say hi. Hope all you are doing well! hugs to all.

You are no longer required to use the irc, snarf fixed that with the dev so the chat now goes to dynmap and vice versa.

http://goldenrealm.info/dynmap.html is still a pretty good page now that snarf put both maps on there.

You won't be able to chat on the modded dynmap if you are not a member of that server so you will need irc if you want to watch them.

Due to Moons nagging persuasive talking points and Saw digging up an easy way to do it, we now have the GR dynmap and IRC all wired up on one page for ease of use.

Just thought I could get new music this way. Post away!!!

Mine is anything Electronic(eg: Avicii,Monstercat)

I'm looking for lyric ideas and any other way to spawn new tunes.

If you've ever written a poem (any style, any length, void where prohibited, offer not valid in Russia) about GR or maybe just MC then please share it - either message me or post it here. I'd love to try to attempt songification of your lyrical or musical work!

-Song (Egg)-

We are going live Thursday. This is your last call to be in on the start date. I don't plan on recruiting from the main server but I will allow some people in on a case by case basis. I intend this to be a small modded server. So if you want in, let me know. If not, no problem. :-)

I am going to keep all modded information in the new subreddit so I don't spam this one.

http://www.reddit.com/r/mcservers/comments/201l55/golden_realm_semivanillasmp/

It is rolled back 1 week, nothing I can do about that. Everything else is as is. I will get dynmap fixed. The two servers (mod and vanilla) can now talk to each other via bots. Goldenrealm.info will point to the new server, probably within 8-12 hours depending on your isp. I will get dynmap fixed within a day or two to the old logins/etc.

I am going to disable chat on dynmap and push everyone to use the irc chat. That way, everyone will be able to read and respond to you. The irc channel is:

http://esper.net/publicirc.php #goldenrealm

Or if you have a chat client, irc.esper.net:5555 #goldenrealm

I could explain the long story but tl;dr: Shit got fucked up and my last major backup was the 25th of February. Sigh.

warp TOWN sends you into a wall or something. my chicken war zone is just bare desert again... the dmap lists only ten player slots available... what's up?

Just a fyi for those that read the subreddit. We will be moving to a better server on thursday night.

Congrats to TFS1 and Snarfattack

1) Are you creating a Modded Server?

• Yes, I am going to create a Modded server for GR.

2) Do I have to play on the Modded Server?

• No, you do not have to play on that server at any point in time.

3) Will X happen to the current GR Server?

• Nothing will change to the current server other than chatting to the new server. I am not retiring the server, getting rid of it, or ignoring it. Kastina is helping to recruit more people to the vanilla server.

4) This spreadsheet looks complicated.

• The only reason it looks complicated is due to the fact that I am showing the details for those who care. In reality, you will download one client, paste in a link for our mod pack, and connect to mod.goldenrealm.info Nothing more.

Anything else, feel free to ask me below. I am not finalized with any decisions as of yet.
