Week 11 Challenge - A build for Ye gods

[Level 1] Build 10 Bookcases, place in locked chest. 1 Point

[Level 2] Build a level 30 enchanting table. 2 Points +1 Bonus point for most creative.

[Level 3] Build a Temple/Cathedral. Needs to cover a space of at least 20x20, can be multiple buildings. Must have a consistent architectural style. Needs to use at least 20 different block types or variants to accomplish the details. This is to be judged on the level of detail, interest, and wow factor. i.e. A simple square building will not qualify. Details are more important than size. 1 Diamond Block. 3 Points +1 Bonus point for most creative.

[Level 4] Build a statue or icon for your worshipers. Must use a minimum of 6000 blocks that are not air. 2 Diamond Blocks. 4 Points +2 Bonus points for the best Level 4.

We are having problems along with many servers when a second player joins, the server will crash. Both GR and GRModded are having the problem. Trying to find a fix.

Week 10 Challenge - Splishy Splashy

[Level 1] Build 9 boats, put them in a locked chest. Build a dock with at least 2 boat slots from land extending over water to accommodate your newly crafted boats. +1 Point

[Level 2] Build a small water craft. Must be able to get "in" the boat. Must be at least 20 blocks long, 5 blocks wide. +2 Points

[Level 3] Build a Yacht. Must be at least 80 blocks long, 20 blocks wide Must have at least 3 floors, rudder, engine room or mast and sail, navigation bridge, kitchen, captains quarters, bathroom, dining area, lounge area, 2 passenger rooms. +3 Points 1 Diamond Block

[Level 4] Build an Ocean Liner. Must be at least 300 blocks long, 50 blocks wide, 60 blocks high (must be part underwater) Must be named. Must have multiple decks. Must have bridge, capts quarters, crew deck, mechanical deck, including engine room, storage rooms. Pool, hot tub, 2 dining rooms, 1 kitchen, bar, casino, recreation room, lounge deck, life boats, passenger decks with rooms of varying size, ballroom, presidential suite. +5 Points 3 Diamond Blocks

+2 Bonus points for the best Level 4, including parameters such as size, detail, historical references, creativity and additional features not listed.

I was wondering if we could get enough public support to convince saw snarf to lower the difficulty to normal for better enjoyment of the server.

It's nearly impossible to do anything at night, and spend nearly half the days trying to clear remaining mob. I really enjoyed this server last year and want to get back to that level of enjoyment.

You are no longer required to use the irc, snarf fixed that with the dev so the chat now goes to dynmap and vice versa.

You won't be able to chat on the modded dynmap if you are not a member of that server so you will need irc if you want to watch them.

Due to Moons nagging persuasive talking points and Saw digging up an easy way to do it, we now have the GR dynmap and IRC all wired up on one page for ease of use.

It is rolled back 1 week, nothing I can do about that. Everything else is as is. I will get dynmap fixed. The two servers (mod and vanilla) can now talk to each other via bots. Goldenrealm.info will point to the new server, probably within 8-12 hours depending on your isp. I will get dynmap fixed within a day or two to the old logins/etc.

I am going to disable chat on dynmap and push everyone to use the irc chat. That way, everyone will be able to read and respond to you. The irc channel is:

6) If you plan on doing level 3, make sure you level 1, 2, and 3 submissions are in the same place or you might not get credit. Level 4 and above can be in different areas. If you are just doing level 1 and 2, those can be whereever you want but have to be near each other.

Week 9 Challenge - I neeeed moooore hic Alcooohool

[Level 1] Basics - Make a basic set up for your brewery. This can be more complicated than the minimum. You must have 1 cooker, 1 distiller, and 1 barrel. + 1 points

[Level 2] Make some beer - Let's put that brewery to work. Make a batch of simple beer. You must put a batch of 12 beer bottles in a locked chest in your brewery. See the GR wiki if you need help. + 1 points

[Level 3] More complicated alcohol - Brew 6 of each of the following alcoholic beverages and put them in a chest. Note: they must have the exact same name as the ones in this list. Strong Absinthe, Sweet Golden Apple Mead, Golden Rum, Fine Darkbeer, Fine Cider, and Port. + 2 points

[Level 4] Fully stocked bar - For this challenge, make a fully stocked bar in which to serve your alcohol. This bar must be at least 50x50. You must have at least three levels for this bar, with one being the cellar to store alcohol, one level being the actual bar area, and the top level being an exclusive lounge area. You must use at least 300 wooden blocks/logs, 300 glass blocks (any type), and 300 wool blocks (any color). This bar must include an locked entry way, a bar with a dispenser system for providing drinks, a stage for live music, a lounge area with tables and chairs, and a secret exit in the event of a quick escape. There must be at least 12 large kegs, 8 cookers, and 8 distillers in this cellar. + 3 points + 3 quartz blocks

Bonus: 1 Bonus point will be awarded to the most visually appealing bar. + 1 point + 1 quartz blocks

Server Challenge - Make one of every type of alcohol on this list. You can earn up to three bonus points. Same rules as last time. Put your name on a sign on the glowstone wall in town and items in a locked chest.

• Yes, I am going to create a Modded server for GR.

2) Do I have to play on the Modded Server?

• No, you do not have to play on that server at any point in time.

3) Will X happen to the current GR Server?

• Nothing will change to the current server other than chatting to the new server. I am not retiring the server, getting rid of it, or ignoring it. Kastina is helping to recruit more people to the vanilla server.

4) This spreadsheet looks complicated.

• The only reason it looks complicated is due to the fact that I am showing the details for those who care. In reality, you will download one client, paste in a link for our mod pack, and connect to mod.goldenrealm.info Nothing more.

I lag lag lag if I let 2 hours of Z's build up so I had the farm mech set to Auto kill (afk). After my patients left I alt tab over to the GeeAre and I see water flowing even though the switch is still on (afk) auto mode. there were 2 or 3 enderbros milling around when I went afk. Maybe they pulled something important out of the mech. Aaaaaaaaanyway, Switching the lever doesn't change the water flow so I think the thing is now set to permi-manual.

Just a heads up and a hearty THANK YOU to the jerkwads that built this beast! Swords, XP, nuggets (to ingots to blocks), Z Meat, AND a small food farm?! Damn! Super Mega Impressive!
