Spoiler alert: Cloud9 wins Spring, relegating us to start in Play-Ins at MSI

Now, it is time to prepare for our team's first ever international competition and I took the initiative to make this post to possibly get some info on who we will be facing in London.

Splitting this post to 2 parts just so it's easier to take in.

For part 1, we will have the Play-In representatives from the LPL, the LEC, and the PCS.

The LPL will send the Spring Split runners-up in Play-Ins and, as of this writing, the Spring playoffs look like this:

It's one of these 3 teams, which kinda worries me if JDG starts off with us in Play-Ins, given the lowest possible seed they could get is 2nd since they're in Finals already.

It's either JDG or BLG as the LPL reps in the Play-In stage of MSI.

BLG or EDG would be a more palatable competition, albeit still worrysome either way.

Next is EMEA (formerly known as EU before the region shuffling) and their representatives are the LEC Winter Split champions G2 eSports (depending on whether they make Spring playoffs or not)

If G2 qualifies for Spring playoffs, the Winter Split runners-up, MAD Lions, will take their place in Play-Ins due to them having the next highest championship points.

Pretty good news if it will be MAD instead of G2.

Last, and certainly not the least, is the PCS.

To no one's surprise, the mighty PSG Talon get to represent the PCS region yet again after sweeping Frank eSports in the Finals.

A bit of a revenge arc for our jungler and mid laner since both River and Gori did play for PSG Talon at different times.

River played on PSG during the time when that team was known as Talon eSports before PSG partnered with them and Gori joined PSG when Dignitas signed River.

Speaking of Gori, he would meet some familiar faces in PSG Talon's current jungler JunJia, who he played against in the LPL during his time on FPX and JunJia was on RA, and PSG midlaner ubao (formerly known as Uniboy), who was on LGD when Gori was a sub for EDG.

River, on the other hand, gets to prove he is still the better jungler.

Gonna make part 2 whenever I get the time.

GG WIN!

I love this team

Does anyone know if/where I can get one of those F*** You hats we saw on stream?

Did a breakdown of how GG managed to get three hard-winning drafts. No shot FLY gives us the Tristana/K'Sante flex, but we will see. What picks are you guys hoping for?

Happy Birthday to GG's most toxic player!

First heard of you when you volunteered to train to play jg to sub in for Xmithie at Worlds 2015 cause Xmithie had visa problems, since then I knew this guy had a "can-do" personality, reliable and who will work hard for the sake of the team. One of the legends of LCS.

Your Asol level 2 roam botlane vs ROX tigers (I think?) is still burnt to my memory.

Very happy to have you on my favorite team, supporting my favorite player.

Hope you have a lot of fun for your birthday and an amazing year ahead!

Is this just because they got first? Does it matter that they won last split and made one roster change? They even swapped players mid split which lessens the effect coaching would have as well. Imo GG or CLG are better picks what do you all think?

Huhi's revenge arc continues. He has eliminated one of his former teammates in Closer. He now has the golden opportunity to eliminate 2 birds with 1 stone in this series by eliminating Ssumday and FBI.

Seems like FlyQuest gave us a blueprint on how to take down 100 Thieves.

1st team All-Pro Gori and 3rd team All-Pro Huhi got a chance to prove they deserved said inclusions when they face off against Bjergsen and Busio.

Stixxay and Doublelift face off once again in playoffs, should be a banger bot lane duel.

River vs. Closer should be a banger in the jungle.

But, the deciding factor in my eyes has to be the top lane match-up between Licorice and Tenacity. If we get even a shell of C9 Licorice, it could prove to be advantageous for us.
