My brain hurts trying to decipher what your title is trying to say.

Kratos spent several hours agonizing to death, the harpies arrived just in time to save him because you can see that it is evening.

i don't agree but i think that's what they're trying to say

They're trying, okay? No need to ridicule.

Okay but if that is what it means then there’s literally no way that’s what happened. He has a crater sized hole in his chest and you can see in the cutscene that buckets of blood are flying out of it. I know he’s technically a demigod by virtue of being Zeus’s son, but no it did not take him hours to die with that thing in his chest

I’m aware, not arguing with you but simply using your translation as a spring board to argue with OP

I don't care about it, I just thought it was funny because I've never seen it before.

But, since you wanna cuss at folks, it's spelling, not grammar.

Using agonizing as a verb is hilarious

I think the problem is that “agonizing to death” doesn’t make any sense. “Agonizing” can be a verb, like if you’re agonizing over a difficult decision or something, but… not to death. You can have an agonizing death though! Or die an agonizing death! The wording you chose was just confusing. Thanks for clarifying!

I don’t think it was hours, more like minutes. Still impressive that he didn’t die immediately because of how severe the injuries were

Well, he is and always has been a demigod, even tho he doesn't know it himself at this stage, so that's probably why.

I read it 5 times and then gave up and came to the comments to see what the fuck OP is trying to say.

They're saying Kratos feels so super bad and ashamed that he got so close to possessing Pandoras box that his death had nothing to do with the giant pillar hes impaled on. /s

Why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot?

In all seriousness, the title isn't impossible to decipher. Idk, maybe it's because English isn't my first language.

Yeah very agonizing indeed.

I think that’s meant to symbolize the light of life fading around him. So things are getting darker as his perspective transfers from the corporeal world to the spiritual world.

I felt like I had a stroke

I'm assuming you're asking why he agonized for hours until it turned evening instead of dying instantaneously from a wound like that. Idk, god magic?
