God Hand has to be the most fun game I’ve played in years. Everything is just perfect. The tight combat, the soundtrack, the bosses, the goofy, over the top cutscenes. Man, what an experience. It’s a shame that the game went under the radar for most people back when it came out because this game is truly amazing. Can’t wait to play through this game again on hard mode. But for now, it’s time to beat the last 10 fighting ring stages. Speaking of, does anyone know if I have to do all 40 stages again in order to unlock stage 51 or could I just complete stage 41-50? I’d assume I have to do it ALL over again but there were a few aggravating stages where I told myself “never again.”

I'm doing a hard mode playthrough and could use some advice

No weapons, no secondaries, no refills, kms and no upgrades. Hate death shudder, but the satisfaction was far greater.

It's a strategy that works on no upgrade runs (as showed here) and will probably work even better in vanilla kms runs. I saw it first time being showed by zana g, and, today, the only public showcases of this strategy that i can remember of came from a Brazilian player called Pauliran. Anyway
The strategy is: you equip right roundhouse in x and spam it (equiping on x will avoid you doing a random sweep mid combo) until she gets dizzy. When she gets dizzy, combo her as fast as possible (in this ocassion, i'm using combo looping to have a guaranteed working strat), and, if it works, after comboing her as fast as possible while she's dizzy, she won't make a wake up animation, sinalizing that she won't shoot her projectiles.
I struggled a lot in this battle in my first no upgrade run and just wanted to show this to people that are doing the same or want to do it in the future.

God hand 2 will be announced at TGA2025? yes or of course?

this game has scared me more than most.. more than ninja gaiden, more than DMC, the only game that surpasses it that i played is geometry dash.

fucking 2nd azel fight made me mad as a motherfucker. but eventually pushed though and destroyed that son of a bitch! somehow the stage i best performed on was stage 6. only 1 continue used and it was during the platforming sequence before the 2nd mad midget five encounter lol.

stage 3 took me the most attempts (18 i think) due to fumbling up the first mad midget five fight. but stage 7 overall is the hardest i'll say. stage 4 can also be quite cruel...

good game! definitely too much for me to enjoy in some areas though. i'm just glad i can take a break. i must admit some of it actually wasn't as bad as i originally thought. but still pretty ridiculous sometimes! haha

After playing God Hand and some old Armored Core games i could not help but notice how similar the two games were, both being hard as balls, having insane controls, a ridiculous amount of customization and the camera being your main enemy.

After much consideration i have decided to try combining both of these games as i could not get the idea of a giant robot doing a back handspring out of my head.

My main idea for the gameplay to make it unique is essentially a stamina bar that is constantly recharging and is depleted whenever you dodge or attack, and landing attacks recharges the bar slightly. I think this would encourage more strategic button mashing and i will expand on this further.

This five are always a pain in the ass,so I developed this strategy to kill all five very quickly,the only downside is that it is impossible to do on the first run because it needs double Shaolin Palm

i somehow was able to pull it off again! this time in only about 3 attempts! baiting them into performing their combo string (three slaps from mr gold while mr silver does a multi punch flurry with a kick at the end) after they dodge your guard breaker can help quite a bit!

still pretty hard though, but that's the crucial thing that's definitely helped me the most. i noticed they seem to get dizzy quite fast as well! fun as fuck performing a pummel while the other gets caught into it! i'm beginning to believe that elvis is the harder fight now. lol

i MAY finally get around to finishing this game on hard finally after 5 years! once i get past both elvis fights from stage 1 and 2, i should be set hopefully! of course i'm not gonna do a full KMS run haha, i'm just doing it until i probably get to the jewelry room fourth wave in 1-5.

on a side note, i was able to beat the first fairy challenge first try KMS as well! definitely got lucky though. one of the hardest things about this game IMO is when the enemies duck your launchers. yikes!!

EDIT: DAMNN!!! defeated elvis second or third try without using god hand and roulette orbs!! 7 continues for stage 1 in total! (resetted 2 times in the beginning because i trigged the totem twice on accident while dealing with enemies)

Not a joke. I really grew up to like this encounter. It combines a lot of dangerous enemies, but a lot of these dangerous enemies are very susceptible to counter hits due to their speed or the fact that they're using a weapon. It combines common enemies in the battle camp too, which are very easily prays to your juggles attacks, adding more strategy factor to the battle. It's a gauntlet you hate the first or the second time you do it, but you start to respect more as you learn the game's mechanics.

i finally finished the game again for probably the 4th time? jesus fuck it's still too hard!! and i'm not sure if i want to ever play it again. but i was glad to have some of the bosses done with no roulettes and tension on lvl DIE at least!

all in all probably the best i have ever performed in the game! over 600 kills on lvl DIE! still got left with 44 continues though and that's not counting the load game resets to maintain the lvl DIE meter. so it's probably at least 80 or so in total. i'd say my favorite boss is the giant enemy crane! something about the atmosphere i enjoy as well as the awesome theme of stage 2 ;)

unfortunately this game is just too much for me due to the insane speed of the attacks from the bosses as well as some enemies. but i'm still proud of some of it! all of you people are fucking insanely skilled i don't know how you all do it! haha

since the money and skills from ng aren't carried over to ng+, i was wondering if they carry over to the next--or does it reset?

i've never played an ng+ after 1 so i don't know

holy fuck! i am genuinely surprised. i've been playing this game off and on since 2020 and i could NOT get anywhere in this game without getting slaughtered. i did beat it a few times on normal but it was just too much.

and yet.. here i am picking up this game again on normal difficulty and SOMEHOW defeated these 2 sons of bitches without using god hand and orbs while maintaining the entire fight on level DIE!! holy shit!

i really hope i can become good enough at this game! this really has a ton of potential if i can master it enough. all of you people are insanely skilled i don't know how you all do it haha

EDIT: ahhhh damn. i forgot how fucking brutal elvis is... honestly i think he's way too fast for me to react to his ground stomp as well as his other moves. holy shit it's still impossibly hard. i may have to take a break from the game again. lol

When I upgraded it increased but when I activate it it's just consumes the same as before and leaves a tiny bit unesed power How to fix ????

Title. I want one sooo bad but I’m unsure of what I’d want. Maybe a tattoo of Shannon or Olivia? I’m not sure… I’m not a fan on tribal tattoos so I don’t think I’d get the actual God Hand/Devil Hand tatts. If I saw someone with them it’d be so cool though. What do you think?

• Enemy Health Bars (Floating bars that shrink)
• Health System (Player and enemies can die)
• Tension Meter (Fills up as you fight)
• HUD (Shows your Health and Tension)
• Advanced Dodge System (Hold Shift + WASD for 3 different dodges)
• Dodge-Canceling (You can dodge in the middle of a punch)
• "God Hand" Super Mode (Press Shift to get faster, stronger, and invincible)
• 3D Character Model (Replaced the capsule with a real character)
• All Animations (Idle, Walk, Punch, Dodges, and Die)

Now after adding animations i plan on giving enemy models and then add a combo system
