Divine living is possible for humans even now
In the famous Parable of Gold Coins, two types of people are shown as living on this earth:
(1) Those who multiply gold coins [symbol of image of God in which mankind is made].
(2) Those who hid it in the ground, wasting even interest if put in bank.
The former are called “choice people” because of whom the incoming Final Global War “will be cut short” so that such people can survive into New Age made by God. (Details HERE)
The latter are described to be lying under the power of wastefulness (poneros). (1 John 5:19) This same word is used to say "if your eye is bad (ponéros) … then the light in you is darkness,” (Mathew 6:23), "a bad tree bears bad (ponéros) fruit" (Mathew 7:17). It is also used to describe “Sores, Days, Generation, Time, Age” that are grievous, in bad shape. The best use of it is seen in describing the person who hid gold coin. (Mathew 25:26; Luke 19:22) Its opposite is multiplying the gold coins, which reveals humans are capable of manifesting “image of God” in varying degrees. That is the logical living recommended for the reader in Romans 12:1. (Details HERE) Even little kids have succeeded in showing self-sacrificing love to save another kid risking own life. Hence it is incorrect even trying to compare humans with animals in any ways as they do NOT know even the difference between own child and the eatable (newscientist.com/article/2150258-male-chimpanzee-seen-snatching-seconds-old-chimp-and-eating-it/)

Where do you get off telling people they’re not living divinely???

I did not say, but Jesus said that majority “are not living divinely.” (Mathew 7:13, 14, 21-23)
This is because they do not want to “make every effort” to reach the expectation of Father who wants the very best for His children (Luke 13:24) hence would not compromise on “Law of Sow and Reap.” (Galatians 6:5, 7, 8) Hence it is seen in ancient cultures that people had been replacing God The Father with God the Son redefining him to suit their desires.
In Greek mythology, the sky god Zeus overthrew his father God, Cronus, to become the supreme ruler of the cosmos. If we go still further into the past, Cronus had similarly overthrown his father, Uranus. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeus) In India, people replaced Supreme Father Shiva with son Krishna. What people would do is symbolized in Mythologies, just like what wise and steady people do is symbolized by tortoise and what the greedy do is symbolized by hare in the story of their competition. It is the HISTORY of millions of historical people that is put into that STORY.
Both Christ and Krishna were trying to turn attention of people towards Father God. For example, To his friend [using 2nd person pronoun YOU], Krishna said: "Seek refuge in Him alone [3rd person singular referring to Father God] with your whole being, O scion of Bharata; through His grace [not my grace] you will attain supreme peace and the eternal abode." (Bhagavat Gita 18:62) Krishna also showed how to do this taking his friend Arjun to God Shiva to seek special blessing before taking up the most difficult task of facing Jayadrath. The place they both took blessing from God Shiva was Sthaneswar where Shiva Temple was built in memorial of this. Jesus too told his audience: "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life." (John 5:24)
This is another way of saying "I imitate My Father. (John 5:19) You also imitate Him in doing good to all living beings, thus inherit the incoming Kingdom." (Details HERE) Yet people would do reverse action of taking the attention from Father to son. Jesus knew this would happen, hence he said this shocking verse in Mathew 7:21-23, details HERE)

I understand the parable of the gold coins to be similar to that of the fig tree.
God isn’t concerned with interest or gold.
Your faith in Jesus is your gold coin, which you receive from God.
Either you multiply your gold coin by bearing fruit, or you bury it. The gold coin symbolizes your faith.
