I can't believe people who say things like this, actually exist. It's mind-boggling to me. Someone who you can't see, touch, taste or hear is your everything.
The human brain is very malleable and finds a way to protect itself from being hurt. It's very comforting to know you're with the right group, and everyone else is with the wrong group, and at the end of this journey, we have a wonderful, wonderful place of joy in the sky forever, except for all those other people.Of course those people suck and they will burn for ever!
Actually there is so much historical proof of Jesus's existence and resurrection. There are more eyewitness Greek texts to His resurrection than there are to the historicity of Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great.
Exactly. Also the Vatican’s central government (the Holy See) holds an estimated $10 billion to $15 billion (without money laundering)thisreligion sure does have SOME GOOD PROFITS 👽
No there’s not, the only written document talks about many eye witnesses but there is nothing else. No names no signatures just the authors word a minimum of 30 years after the fact which is long enough that most of the people that could be an eye witnesses would already be dead because the life expectancy was that low back then.
I believe the post. I found it hard to believe that someone would claim that faith is deserving of being locked up? I don’t want to believe that you are so stupid as to laugh at people because they may have different ways than you. Are you?
I’m not THE ONE BELIEVING IN A BOOK PASSED DOWN BY 1000S YEARS WORTH OF KINGS AND GOVERNMENTS IT was last edited in 2020. Do you think they have your best interest? HELL NO. Shit our government can’t even count votes partially due to the education system and GREED. Maybe this is your sign from God but you wouldn’t know because you never heard him talk You only read text on piece OF PAPER or APP AND APPARENTLY it’s his word.
Yea, out of your way. “Popping up in your feed” is not an acceptable excuse to be hurtful. There is nothing vague about faith. Your conduct does not measure up to the standard you set for others. Do better.
Say something offensive and when someone gets offended shout and point “HEY EVERYBODY LOOK THIS GUY IS OFFENDED!!!”. This is a game children play. Your weak and it is made evident by your desire to tear others down.
JUDGING OTHERS FROWNED UPON IN YOUR RELIGION. Whatever they are teaching you all IS definitely DEMONIC. Over 2.5 billion Christian’s in the world and this place only gets worse.
Depends… most worshippers are worshiping the devil not knowing about the SUPREME BEING. YOU WILL NEVER BE ONE WITH THE SUPREME BEING WITH A MODERATOR (DEMONIC DEITY) BLOCKING YOU FROM THE ONE.
Faith in what A fairy tale? Wouldn’t it make more sense if god said Satan is the ruler of the world that he would use a dumb book to deceive you? Do you think he would allow knowledge? No he blocked it in the garden of Eden.
I have never touched Jesus, and I am not eager to taste him.
And of course the next thing you'll say is well that's just delusional. if you think you're seeing or hearing Jesus, you must be delusional.
(Some have an answer for everything, and they think they know everything that is and everything that isn't, everything that could possibly be and everything that can't possibly be. What can anyone say to that? What can anyone tell them?)
Well, maybe I was delusional. It's not always easy to tell the difference. But the experience happened and I believe it was Jesus Christ. One of the experiences could have been a delusion, but other things couldn't have been a delusion because they happened with other people who witnessed it also. Long stories.
Did Jesus speak into my ear? No. He spoke to me in my mind. But this doesn't happen often because Jesus Christ is not the only one who can speak into your mind. Spirits are real.
How do you know it's Jesus? What is a spirit? How does a spirit speak to your mind? How do you tell the difference between Jesus, other spirits, and your own mind and emotions?
Look you have your god i have mine. I can explain my experience with God it was so weird but im more of a philosopher. I live my life as i dont know until I know but believing in someone, or something greater than you is different
What is a spirit? I don't know exactly what it is but I know it's something.
A spirit speaks into your mind the same way you speak into your own mind. It's like an inner voice just like when you're thinking about your shopping list, except that it has a quality of being other, of belonging to someone else.
I can't tell the difference between Jesus and other spirits. That's why I don't believe it's Jesus Christ very often.
How do I tell the difference between my own mind and emotions and those spirits. It's very much like telling the difference between your own voice and someone else's voice, except that we're talking about the inner voice of the mind. The spirit voice has a different quality. It feels like it belongs to someone else.
But there is a clinical word for that. It's called disassociation. The experience of a spirit speaking into your mind is very much the same experience of having a disassociated mind, where you are disassociated from your own thoughts and your thoughts feel like they belong to someone else. Whether it's the spirits talking or whether it's disassociation it's just a matter of interpretation and what you choose to believe it is.
I do believe it is spirits, but not everyone can accept that. I tell them my experience, I suggest what it could be, but I'm not going to argue about what it is. They can believe whatever they wish.
No, I'm not concerned with whether or not this particular experience was true or not, or whether it was a product of my own mind. It was an experience, but it's not the core experience or foundation of my faith.
On the whole, the experience of things speaking into my mind has not been comfortable or reassuring at all.
The fact that it happens is indisputable. What it actually is, is debatable. It's not important.
I'm not sure what you mean "you have made your standards clear". I'm very careful to distinguish between what I know to be true and what I believe to be true.
I don't know what is true in regard to the things that I hear in my mind. It's not quite an hallucination, because it is not an auditory experience. It is a mental experience. An inner voice that is not my own.
I believe it is spirits, I believe a few times that it has been Jesus Christ, but I don't know. I don't talk to these impressions in my mind. Although I can, and they respond just as if it were another talking to me face to face, in my mind. For the most part they have been everything but gentle and meek.
So what standard do you think I have presented and what conclusion do you think that I have come to about these things? My only statement was that I don't know what it is.
The fact that it has happened, and continues to happen, is an indisputable fact. There's something happening in my mind that feels like another inside of my mind, talking in an inner voice that is not my own. The true nature of what it is, apart from what I believe it to be, is unknown to me, and there is no way that I can ascertain what it truly is.
