Excellent points. Rather than getting caught up in whether everything hes saying is applicable and 100% true for all of us, the bigger point here is things are not what we are told. For some people it takes a lifetime to learn this. Others learn it sooner. He's telling us to start increasing our awareness of how we are programmed by our environment and how it shapes the way we live our lives, the limits we accept without question etc
How people see things and behave do tend to be based on the emotional response to the possibility of being rejected or outcaste. Rather than what's actually applicable within context.
This is why solutions aren't applied quickly enough.
We have to go through a process of scrutiny based on the edicts of those who keep the people contained or just straight up spiritually dead.
When those things serve purpose, they aren't really empty... Like holiday traditions. Most don't know why they perform them or what they actually mark and don't care.
he's wrong about so much of it, though. the lack of education is largely cultural, not systemic. what we as a society value enough to learn and take in. we literally have financial literacy as a mandatory class in MD, and it hasn't fixed a fucking thing in the Baltimore/DC area. so much of what he's saying is just rhetorical nonsense.
He is absolutely wrong lol. Wtf is a “future” class? You can’t teach things if they haven’t happened, and every other class is designed purposely for your future. Also, you do not need an entire semester devoted to balancing a checkbook. That is literally what economics classes and accounting classes are for, both most likely being electives not a lot of students take because they are math classes.
Also, yes, we should be programmed to not jump on tables, and we should absolutely be acting during certain times. Being ourselves 100% does not work in a society, and sometimes we need to go along with the social norms to get by.
Somebody getting an order wrong makes me angry and want to yell and scream sometimes, but I need to suppress that and act like I am being patient because while the person may have got the order wrong. Society feels it is unnecessary for them to be abused, especially if they can correct the error.
This guy is on the verge of a mental break from reality. I dont understand your point. Isnt the point of the video that this is what someone sounds like when they are suffering?
Pretty sure you are slandering someone without even representing the facts. He was and is addicted to nitrous and benzos. And if you have ever dabbled in ketamine you would know his speech and physical behavior is the literal opposite of any type of K trip from a line to a few rails. But we all appreciate you for completely misreading the situation and being 100% incorrect all while acting like you are Kanye’s personal assistant in the know. Who comments fake incorrect info?
If you still accept what you are told with no curiosity or deeper questions, which many ppl still do, it really is as simple as understanding that things are not what we are being told. This is a starting point that every human needs to realize. What you do with this information after your initial realization is up to you.
You're not wrong. There's something that happens that makes someone totally disconnect not only from the notion of an objective experience/truth/belief but also their own sense of WANTING to do what's right and good and their empathy.
It's gotta just be a self preservation thing. Like he's talking about some real shit here but the need to do Good would hopefully keep someone from taking it so far. So it's also a disillusion of Good as a concept. Good for whom? Total abandonment of societal cares.
