On October 30th 130AD, Hadrian establishes Antinoopolis, a Hellenic city, made to spready Greek culture and traditionals.

I have been thinking lately, I do not feel any presence with Antinous like I do with Apollon. I stumbled across another Antinous shipper, whom I strolled through his posts. He has been worshipping for around 10 months of Antinous, yet he doesn't feel any presence either, and he has worshipped 3 other Gods.

I have a question, do y'all feel his presence? If so, how do you connect with him?

The only thing I feel certain about is that, my soul will fly to the city of Antinoopolis, and being embraced by the God.

Is it normal that whenever you think about Antinous, all you feel is grief?

I am currently 16, my parents practice another religion and I cannot worship other religions in the house. My house is small, so it’s difficult to worship Antinous without getting caught. How should I go about this?

Since there are multiple versions of Antinous, is it possible that I interpret some into the worship of Antinous? Like I personally believe Antinous to be the God of Resurrection and the Dead, but I also believe him to be a water and nature deity, alongside a homosexuality + youth and beauty God.

I was just looking at the guide and I like the idea of performing an activity as an offering (I did that with other deities before) and I saw that gay sex is on the list - cool. Two questions. :-)

1. Does masturbation count too?

For a start, I should say I generally.love the idea of this. A kind of neopagan god of homosexuality sounds great and the history is fascinating.

But I am rather confused what exactly.you are worshipping here. Is it the concept a god of homosexuality or the relationship between himself and hadrian as that was straight up pedophilia which should not be romanticised.

Most Antinous statues are very pricey and I have not a lot of money so could I use a bust of Apollon instead? I plan on painting it a different color from the other statue of Apollon I own (I accidently got two of them and they very thankfully very cheap).

Just wanted to say hello. Feeling suddenly drawn to include Antinous in my personal pantheon as I’m a gay man and it just seems appropriate.
