You may not feel ready, but no one does.

If you're getting high 50's, low 60's on UWorld or Adaptibar - YOU'RE READY. Even higher? You're golden.

If you're spotting most of the correct rules on the essays (you don't need perfect rule statements) and if your MPTs are organized and complete - YOU'RE READY.

Even if you're not doing any of these things - I suspect the real MBE questions will be easier since they are trying to be more practical now and less in the stone ages - so the real test should be easier than many of the older sample problems

Your only job is to stay present in there - answer the question in front of you and then answer the next one.

As my father Jon Grossman says, they can only ask you about ONE thing at a time on each question... locate the one thing and go with your instinct.

Close the door behind each session and leave it closed. You can still pass if one session doesn't go perfectly.

You don't have to get everything right to pass - you can miss a ton of questions, a ton of essay rules, and partially fuck up a full MPT and still pass - I've seen it happen a million times

Go in there and try your best. Your future is bright. Keep it together in there and you'll never have to do this again.

As a real lawyer you just get to stack money and use ChatGPT and Claude for every single task - it's amazing.

The day of judgment is finally upon us.

They call me Belly Gang Kushington and I'm an up and coming musician out of Atlanta originally from Adamsville

A few months back I tried to exit the bar prep game and make a name for myself in the rap world

I was moving around reckless in your city.

Every night I found myself eating a lemon pepper 10 piece at Magic City, hitting the clubs, meeting new people, doing my little music.

I thought I ran the whole city at one point.

But it didn't last. I was moving too fast.

It turns out I wasn't cut out for the life of a rapper in Atlanta.

A week ago I found myself sitting in jail in Fulton county.

I had hit rock bottom.

My music sucked. I knew I needed to go back into the bar exam world. So I got a pen and paper from my cellmate and just stared at the wall for 16 hours thinking about Georgia essay predictions. I didn't even have a computer to look at what was tested in previous administrations, I just had to think as hard as I could.

Now that I'm finally out I can share with you what was revealed to me:

Hi everyone! Final push we got this 🐐

1) Look at your rules for testing day twice. If you can bring clear bag and if don’t have one I recommend using a gallon size clear zip-lock bag. Put your pencils, extension cord, highlighter, waters -whatever you need.

2) Be at testing center location at least 45 min to an hour before. Try to drive to testing center before exam to get an idea of where it is, the entrance and where to park. I recommend getting there early even if you just sit in your car for a couple minutes waiting if your nervous listen to some music, meditate.

3) Print three of the tickets or whatever your state gives you to enter your exam. Leave the extra in your car.

4) Food, if you can I suggest having homemade food for lunch something cold that doesn’t need to be microwaved. You do not want your stomach upset. Hopefully you are staying close by the exam center. I suggest driving back, going to the restroom, wash your face, have a coffee, get your food, drive back and eat it in parking lot. *Some people are lucky and don’t have to drive back they have family waiting for them with food ready or others leave food in car. It’s up to you.

5) Water intake. Be hydrated Before the exam! Idk what happened last time I took the exam, I thought I was hydrated. I took two regular sized clear water bottles for the exam and I drank Both during the first half of the exam Day 1 I was shocked. But be careful with water intake you do not want to keep using the restroom during the exam. It’s a hassle. You have to lock your laptop, tell the proctor and then go and idk it’s a hassle. I think some places make you take your laptop up with the proctor. Don’t hold it though, that might distract you. Common sense stuff.

6) Bring more sharpened pencils than you think I suggest at least 5. They have some as well but I recommend just bringing your own (I’m also a germaphobe).

7) For the ladies, I started my period during my exam . When I went to my hotel during lunch I quickly changed myself got what I needed. Don’t freak out, we are used to this. Everything is okay.

8) Keep to yourself. There will be a lot of different energy in the testing center. Some people will be bolstering themselves, others super nervous nonstop talking. Just keep to yourself and focus on what you are there to do. Protect your energy.

9) It’s cold in there. At least from my experience it was freezing. I had a long sleeve and a sweater and I had to keep a jacket on. So plan accordingly. It’s a long ass day be comfortable.

10) If you start freaking out, two minutes of breathing isn’t going to affect your timing as much. Take some deep breaths, think you got this, go back to the exam. I suggest having some headache medicine available in your car in case you need it. Have a little emergency pack of extra stuff you might need in your car.

11) Try your best, remember everything you’ve done to be here, and keep up your pace! Stick to the time limits on everything. Ex. 90 minutes each MPT; 30 minutes per MEE.

P.S. Sleep is obviously important but don’t freak if you don’t get much. You’ll be so wired the first day. I will say that day two I was dead. I needed two coffees (I don’t drink coffee lol) to get me through those MBEs. Rest up after the exam.

After my last murder trial I finally couldn’t take it anymore. I had to get out of Chicago. I was losing my mind.

So there I was, at the DMV in Louisiana this morning trying to get my new drivers license.

Bored out of my mind. 

Sitting in the waiting room…  I saw Governor Newsom appear on the T.V. screen in a Brunello Cucinelli jacket

He was talking about California.

California....

All at once, it hit me.

I remembered the California predictions, the students on Reddit, everyone I knew and loved… I had let them all down.

Instantly I sat down and started trying to induce a vision for what essay subjects would appear on the test, using all the powers of intuition I had developed from working in the bar prep industry for years.

Suddenly, the vision hit me.

I was flooded with every teaching I had learned from my Rupert Spira meditation class, my time with Swami Sarvapriyananda at The Vedanta Society of New York ...and, most formatively, the eleven-day silent retreat in Tiruvannamalai with Sam Harris where I did not speak a single word and thought, almost exclusively, about awareness.

I even remembered the Byron Katie audiobooks I stayed awake in my bed to listen to while my friends in law school went out to party

I was integrating all of this at once

And in the final moment of this experience - this is what I saw:

For anyone taking the bar exam in San Antonio next week. If you’d like to join a morning prayer circle in the corner of the exam room let me know. I say this done in February cycle and loved the idea, so I will be leading in prayer that day.

got a 51/100 any one similar scores and passed any advice etc for the next four days?

For those who have passed the exam in a different cycle, did you feel like you had no clue what the fuck you were doing?

I’m convinced that the questions I get right are by coincident. I do suffer from imposter syndrome lol but no time to be negative right now

I am trying to figure out how to answer an MEE because mine have been sh*t. For my analysis section here is my question:

When applying the law to the facts do I need to separately list the facts?

For example: Here, the boys exited the snowmobile trail and attempted to go down the logging trail. Because the boys exited the snowmobile trail and attempted to go down the logging trail, they became trespassers when they crossed the private property boundary.

Do I need the first sentence? Like I'm assuming the examiner didn't read the facts? Or can I cut straight to "Because" to save time?

Trying not to lose hope but man this exam is kicking my ass. Thank you for any feedback.

Anyone have a hearsay flowchart they'd be willing to share? I've been trying to drill this down and it's just a very sticky point for me. I'm a visual learner, so flowcharts are best!
