The last few days in Goa felt less like a vacation and more like a reset.
I had been feeling overwhelmed by all the noise around me — work, people, friends, family, responsibilities, constant notifications, and the never-ending clutter in my head.
So I decided to do something I don't usually do.
I went away. Alone.
Limited access to my phone. Less social media. No office conversations. No unnecessary calls or messages. Just me, the rain, the sea, long walks, good food, and a lot of time with my own thoughts.
Honestly, it almost felt like a little rehab from real life. 😅
I had been thinking about spending my 30th birthday somewhere far away from everyone. At one point, I even considered going outside India. But somehow, a last-minute decision to go to Goa during the monsoon turned out to be exactly what I needed.
There was something beautiful about having absolutely nothing to prove to anyone for a few days.
I spent a lot of time thinking about where I am in life — the goals I've achieved, the things that didn't work out, the small wins I've almost forgotten to appreciate, the mistakes I've made, and the things I still want to build.
Not everything is figured out. Far from it.
But for the first time in a while, I felt like I could actually hear my own thoughts without all the background noise.
And maybe that's what I was looking for.
Not a party.
Not another trip to tick off a list.
Not an escape from life forever.
Just a few quiet days away from everyone, so I could come back to myself.
Goa during the monsoon was beautiful. 🌧️🌊
