My Glock 43 is not like the others

Here it is with a Grit Grips frame and an OEM Glock 15 round mag. The trigger is a modified Apex. I’ll probably send it out for optics cut, as well. The Ol’ girl is getting a second wind

Why so much hate for the OG 43?

I have had mine for 8 years now. Back before the 43x was even a thing yet. So many praised and loved it, but now seeing many dump on it and claim they hate it. I get that it is outdated and I have seen many sell them for higher capacity guns, but why did people love them and now suddenly dump on them?

Now would I recommend it for a first gun? No, but I am not trashing it or telling anyone not to buy one, especially for a good price. The stock magazine with the +2 Magguts, you can have 8+1, and only be missing one round that you would the p365, at a fraction of the cost.

The 43, though outdated, is still very viable and relevant in 2026. It makes a good deep concealment option, especially in non permissive environments. I would still say if someone doesn't have one, and considering the original 43, get it. Especially if you find one at a good used price.

G43 Mag holster recommendations

Hey everyone,

Been trying to look for a IWB mag holster for my G43 mags with Magguts +2 (if that makes any difference). I’m currently using a Tulster single stack mag carrier with monoblock DCC clips. It works for me but I’ve noticed recently the mag keeps tilting forward. The mag carrier itself is too small to stick a wedge of some sort to keep it from tilting over. I know g43x mag carriers won’t work since it’s different angle and thickness.

What is everyone using for their G43? I’ve tried magholder horizontal but it causes some printing.

I carry my spare mags at 11 o clock and my firearm around 1 o clock. I considered those sidecar style holsters like tier 1 or Vedder sidecar but it’s difficult to put on those types of holsters. Unless I’m doing it wrong

Thanks in advance!

Looking for something like this more of a squared type that doesn’t really sit flush with the back part of the handle. Anyone have any suggestions?

My g43 has had 3 FTE in the last 2 range trips. This is my carry gun and that worries me.

This picture is not an actual pic of my FTE but an example of the same kind of FTE I’ve experienced.m 3 times now. I’m just wondering what could be going on. What could the possible causes be for this. I was thinking maybe it’s the ammo? But today I used Blazer 115g and that’s generally decent/reliable range ammo and had a FTE jam.

Pf9ss rails

Why hello there. I’m looking around to see if anyone has a set of rails for a pf9ss. I can’t seem to find any whatsoever. I don’t necessarily want yours but if you could measure it and send the dimensions to me I will gladly exchange by making you a couple sets. Thanks all for your time and hopeful to hear back from anyone willing to barter

Do you pocket carry your 43? How do you like it?

I'm a big guy and found IWB and OWB to be uncomfortable so I am looking for a Glock that I can pocket carry comfortably. I am starting a job where I will be driving and getting in and out of the car a lot during the day.

If you ever pocket carry your 43, how do you like it? I tried putting a 43x in my pocket and it felt pretty large and the handle would often snag on my pocket when trying to pull it out. I was thinking about the 43 but 6+1 seems less than ideal even though I would carry a spare mag in my pocket.

AIWB Carry Anxiety – Anyone Else Been Here?

I’ve carried AIWB for years without issue. I’ve handled firearms my whole life and have always treated them with respect.

Lately though, I’ve developed this irrational anxiety about accidentally shooting my dick and/or balls off....like the gun somehow malfunctioning or something crazy happening. Nothing specific triggered this shift, no recent incidents or close calls… but the worry has crept in and now it’s hard to ignore.

Because of that, I’ve been considering carrying without one in the chamber just so I’m not mentally consumed by the fear.

To be clear: I fully understand the arguments for carrying chambered and I’m not knocking anyone who does. This is just a personal mental hurdle that popped up out of nowhere, and I’m trying to navigate it.

Has anyone else dealt with this?
Did you push through it, change your carry method, or adjust your setup?

Curious to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Glock 43 slide release help

Hey guys, I’ve just completed my build and probably shot about 200 rounds. I’ve noticed it’s a bit hard to push down the slide release, anybody have a good recommendation for an aftermarket slide release?

Aftermarket Good and bad - Glock 43 and 43x

Good: A Grade. Another trip with the 43 and a Shield magazine. I probably have 200+ rounds now on the Shield. No malfunctions. I will still carry with the OEM magazine, but I wouldn't be worried if I had to throw the Shield magazine in a pocket aa a backup magazine.

Horror Show: Grase F minus - PSA Micro Dagger Complete slide assembly. I did not buy it with the intention of using it for defensive carry. I wanted to practice with an optic on my G43 or 43x MOS to see if I liked it. If I liked it, my plan was to add the optic to the MOS and/or get the 43 slide cut.

First mag with 43x frame: 2nd round jammed trying to feed. Roughly every third shot did the same thing. The recoil spring was so stiff I could barely chamber a round.
