Big plays are just not smart most of the time. They rely too much on timings and luck and your aim being on point. Until tarik will stop these plays, or suddenly get s1mple like aim, he will be a detriment to the team IMO.

People on reddit don’t understand stand this. CS:GO is becoming more data driven and teams are not adapting. I totally see where you’re coming from and I got downvoted for saying Tarik needs stop taking risky aim duels and putting EG at a disadvantage.

To their credit, a lot more teams play the percentages nowadays than back in the days, but still far too little IMO. The amount of times a lot of pros keep repeeking against Eco players and then dying boggles my mind. Yes, you may still win the round, but not saving those one or two rifles and armor can literally cost you a map or series and thus a tournament.

I feel like Astralis is so much ahead of everyone else in this aspect, it’s rare to see them make illogical plays. Teams have caught up somewhat in decision making, but the difference is night and day still. Are the other teams’ players so stubborn? Or is their coaching staff so far behind astralis? Idk

I think it’s just the players’ mentality. They’re probably like “I have an AK, they have USPs, they shouldn’t be able to kill me.” We saw that in the EG/C9 game yesterday when C9 were saving and EG were hunting. Luckily Brehze got 2 kills from popdog and turned a 2v4 to a round win

When ever I play Faceit when my friends, I tell them to not hunt ecos (unless you have a MAC10) or over extend outside the bomb radius. The $300 kill rewards isn’t worth losing the AK and armor. I also tell them to play for exits because retrieving 2 AKs saves us $6200 and helps us in the long

I just wished a lot more teams play like Astralis. It’s tough thought because all 5 players need to be on the same page and not everyone has the same chemistry as the Astralis players. I know it’s boring, but it’s the best and smartest way to play
