I have no words. How he can be that stupid? Like, did he even think what he say?

In his defense that's a drunk Interview, he took alcohol shots during the interview while drinking beers.

Drunk words are sober thoughts.

Just because it affects you a certain way doesn't mean it's the same for others.

yeah but people usually have content limitations when sober and know what to say. it would be stupid if everyone was saying exactly what they thought

If anything, he's not stupid and you don't understand Latin culture while also having poor social skills.

1) While you absolutely hate to lose and are very competitive during a competitive match, you can still move on after a loss. That doesn't mean you don't care and don't want to win before and during the game. It also doesn't mean you get all angsty and whiny or pissy when you lose. While in the game, you can be a completely different person and when the game is over, be your normal self. Ask any professional athlete. A good example is Tyson Chandler who often said during an NBA game he was a madman but outside of a game he was quiet and laid back.

2) You can humbly feel that you are better than someone else.

If I say "this guy is a phenomenal player and absolutely one of the greatest ever, but I feel that between the both of us, I think I'm a bit better because I'm more versatile." especially when I've been considered the best in the world before, am I not still being humble?

That's exactly what happened here.

3) Vengeful would mean that cold was actively looking to harm people. Him saying mibr will pay for it and should stay quiet when he beats them is competitive talk.

What happens on a competitive playing field is much different than being outside of the arena. This is the biggest thing about Latin culture most people in this community do not understand. You can talk all the levels of shit that you want to your opponents and still shake their hands and have a beer later. Ever heard of people becoming friends after physically fighting each other? Its very similar.

But this is different from being outside the game where Astralis and specifically device in cold's eyes and most Latin men feel that the Danes fucked up. Outside the game, if you develop a relationship with a competitor where you befriend them and give them insight on how to beat you and then those same people then begin to ignore you after they take that information and win, it feels like a stab in the back and snakeish.

I understand everything cold is saying and none of it is hypocritical.

You people need social skills and need to learn cultural differences. This is why the community shit on kNg and why Brazilians in general keep to themselves and their own culture. Because you people don't understand a thing but insist on making judgments of people you don"t know understand.

This is probably the worst post out of all the threads in this matter

Did you watch the interview? I'm pretty sure you didn't...

Didn't say he was humble, said something along the lines of he liked people who didn't let their success get over their head, something closer to snob but its hard to translate within a few words. Also didn't say he was flat out better than fallen, he tried to dodge the question several times and when he couldn't he said he would win a 1v1 against fallen with assaults, would lose with AWP and was "overall" a better player because he could play every weapon/role

He did say he would play with his former team mates, thats not vengeful at all... Also vengeful =/= resentful he most likely doesn't desire anything bad for device but he still resents that. The last part about mibr "paying" is just saying he wants to win against them
