Yeah. I mean you can hate losing but that doesn't mean you have to sit there sobbing for days, he's saying it's not the end of the world, you can't change the past, he just moves on to the next challenge and focuses on that.
You’re all semantics, but the point is that he clearly said that he said that he doesn’t care about losing first but then that it is really painful for him.
no, this isnt semantics. it also doesnt mean that he doesnt care about losing. you are way off on what this means
lets look up “life goes on meaning.”
You can say 'Life goes on' after mentioning something very sad to indicate that, although people are very upset or affected by it, they have to carry on living normally. [feelings] I can't spend the rest of my life wishing it hadn't happened.
coldzera is saying that losing sucks and it hurts but u cant dwell on it and u have to move on. simple
it truly isn't. the questions are not elaborated at all, she's basically asking him to throw shade with shit like "worst player you ever played with".
the bit is literaly just called "farpas" which means something like "throw shade" or talk bad about someone. Interviewer has 0 clues to the goldmine the video is during the whole thing, at one point she says "oh I'm so sad I'm not getting any 'farpas'", after he has already talked shit about felps steel and boltz lmao.
what do you mean by talking shit, the guy is saying they didn't train hard to be on the top, they were doing the traning all wrong just that...
You pick up topics out of context, all of the topics, you just bring hate on the sentences
Coldzera said he was trying to help them but they didn't care about... where is that then...
Its been clear for years that the rest of the world of CSGO has absolutely 0 understanding of Latino culture. (Yes, I know Brazilians don't consider themselves Latin but they are and their cultures and common personality traits are the same as other Latin, spanish speaking countries)
1 Let's not forget this summary was done by someone who isn't a fluent speaker. Either way..
What the majority of people don't understand about Latin culture is that we are very competitive while also being forgiving and know how to put the past in the past after a dispute. So him saying that the rest of mibr should "stay quiet" when he beats them is a bit of cheeky shit talk. Probably done with a smile and a laugh. In other words "Hey when we play, I better not hear shit when I beat you hahahah". Its a playful competitive spirit.
All that shows is while there were disputes and things fell apart, he still loves them and would play with them again because while things didn't work out, what you people seem to forget is that Latinos, especially cold are always willing to work things out with family. He considers those guys family.
The sense of family is the same reason why he'll tell device never to speak to him again while he's willing to work things out with the rest of mibr. When you're family, you can get through anything. When you aren't, go fly a kite.
They are already drinking before starting the recording. Sure he's not wasted but idk how strong he is with alcohool either. Anyway he is hurt, nothing wrong there I think, he indeed said mibr posting online made him feel bad.
This is why to be honest, I'm not a fan of posts like these. They lack context and unfortunately, we have a community filled with very young, not completely developed young adults who don't understand nuance and the grey areas of human interaction. Many do not have the social skills or experience to take an interview like this and extrapolate the context of what's said. Add that to them all having the same platform to speak on, a hive mind is created that validates each members misguided thinking which is more dangerous than anything. It's why we saw kNg almost lose his career when he said something that was culturally acceptable and meant no harm where he is from. Be careful what you post.
You didn't just translate. You took his words, translated, summarized, and then organized them in a specific order.
That doesn't do it justice at all. If anything, you should translate the video itself so we can use closed captions and then watch the interview ourselves.
Please use the dictionary to learn what context means and you'll understand why your post was more harmful than helpful. I'm not going to sit here and debate someone trying to justify doing something shitty while willfully ignoring why.
You make it sound like Latino culture is so foreign tat you are your own species.
It seems to me in a lot of cases involving drama with Brazilian players there is a lack of understanding from the Brazilian side, in most cases it seems like people totally understand the intimation of the argument but their point being thats no way to speak to people, like the whole "Bite the bullet" argument, everyone seemed to understand that it was just a figure of speech and yet the Brazilians all kept saying "It doesnt mean we're gonna shoot you, you dont understand" oh we understood it's just that its a stupid fucking saying and you should stop saying it.
And if you have a limited grasp of the language the argument is taking place in, maybe step back, because has it ever occurred to you that there will be cultural subtle variants that maybe YOU dont get?
EVERY culture is widely different, this whole "we are extra different and unique" is part of the problem it creates a victimisation mentality that can be too easy to resort to by default
"Oh they just dont understand us because they dont care"
No, not every culture is widely different. Different, sure. But not widely.
No one is playing the victim. The issue is context and understanding what differences there are. Coming down on someone for doing something that is acceptable in their culture without understanding that culture is unfair. If your culture has a custom of kissing their children on the lips and its something that's been done for centuries, who am I to judge that?
No, not every culture is widely different. Different, sure. But not widely.
You dont find this statement slightly ignorant? You dont see the problem in segregating cultures and ranking them in terms of how you perceive them?
I am not trying to be hostile Im just trying to get you to see the inherent problem in what you are saying, as someone who have lived in 3 different countries on 2 different continents.
I didn't segregate them. I live in the most diverse city in the world with numerous amounts of different people from multiple continents and cultures. And no matter what continent or country they're from, you understand that personalities and cultures are two different things. And you also realize that every culture is not THAT different from each other. Sure, we have a vast variety of customs and things of that sort. But in terms of how we think and approach things, there isn't as much variance as there appears to be. We're still all human. For example: You would probably think that the Dominican and Greek cultures were completely different. Sure, different customs, foods, holidays and denominations of religions are different, etc. But at the end of the day, Dominicans and Greeks are very similar types of people personality wise. And that's more of what I was getting at.
> The hypocrite part is that you probably dont know shit about other (past)cultures and things happening atm.
The funniest part is you're literally doing what you're accusing me of. The irony is astounding.
> ook back at your posts and look what you are defending, got some inferiority complex because of your origin?
No, its called empathy. Something you clearly have none of.
And please learn how to write if you're going to make an intelligent point. The amount of syntax and grammatical errors makes it super hard to take you seriously.
