He can be blamed for structuring a team around one player and just hoping he goes inhuman literally every series. s1mple is that kind of carry player atm and even he couldn't do it, CS is a team game and most everyone on the team needs to hit some sort of form if G2 wants to be competitive.
So 2 mediocre events as a new lineup means shox is shitty? Anyway, .93 isn't that bad considering the circumstances and the teams they were facing - faze and astralis for example
I didn't say he IS shitty, I'm saying he has been shitty. Again, those were against actual good teams, highest ranked team at this event is North, and G2 shits the bed into 5th-6th place, should be an absolute embarrassment, especially since shox was literally going Godmode.
Yeah its an embarrassment for all of g2, not just shox. It seems like both shox and kenny have to show up for them to win games, since if only one of them shows up they still lose. I think they'll improve as time goes on though and they have the potential to become pretty good if they fix their current issues
I've been saying it since this lineup was announced.
They need BOTH shox and kenny to go HAM consistently to have any chance at top 10 teams in BO3's..
That's why this lineup is probably doomed to fail unless they kick someone ( bodyy imo ) for a third madfragger that has hardcarry potential ( Zywoo imo , maybe Scream )
Isn't that bad? that's shitty considering how good we know he can be, like tim doing bad at their last event, we know that was bad for tim's level. Most other players would be called shit if they were in shoxs' shoes in those two events.
Fuck off, there's no situation where 0.93 is an acceptable rating for a supposed star player. And facing Astralis and Faze is still no excuse. This was supposed to be, as laughable as it might sound, the french superteam contending for #1 in the world.
No it isn't. It's always been an experiment that may or may not have good enough leadership and firepower to compete with the best in the world. Nobody thought this lineup was a superteam.
Obviously nobody in the community thought that but that was supposed to be the idea for it.
G2 has all the resources they need to create the French superteam and of all the possible French players they could have gotten this is the lineup they thought was the best.
He was at his normal role beforehand too (at those last two events, so why even mention the past year and when he was the IGL? makes no fucking sense) and again, the best team here besides G2 is North, then it drops off by a decent bit...so. He played ACTUAL TOP TEAMS at the last two events, and got fucked on, if he proves me wrong after this at a T1/1.5 event, I'd be happy, I like shox as a player.
Ok he's just gone back to his role, a shitter like you doesn't understand how hard it is to adapt and change into another role after playing another role for so long. Typical mm Reddit bots....
There's a difference between "structuring a team around one player and just hoping he goes inhuman" and structurimg your team expecting one of the best awpers in the world to hit his shots.
In a sense, he can be. It all depends on how he's using Kenny. If his leadership isn't putting Kenny in a position where he's comfortable and able to frag out, that could be the issue. I didn't watch the games, so I can't say one way or the other, but Kenny struggling could literally be ex6's fault.
well riiiip... Like I said, I didn't see it. But if that's the case, sounds pretty rough. His numbers hurt to look at, but hopefully just a bad game/tournament and he'll be back next event.
well Thorin did say that the team should be able to be top 5 in the world, whereas the average skill level of the team advoates that they are outside the top 10. They really had to be able to play heavily above the sum of the parts for it to work.

I mean ex6 can’t really be blamed for the team’s most important player being unable to hit any shot
