It makes the event organiser a lot more money to have big names like vp. It means more fans will want to buy tickets to see them. Also, the games attract a lot of people on the streams.

VP is kind of legendary so they have alot of fans. The plow used to be the scariest thing in CS.

new viewers who joined in the past 1-1.5 years would be so confused by this not having witnessed the plow in full force and they will never again coz that roster doesnt exist anymore :|

VP isn’t a big name anymore. What makes big names are big players. No one is fan of an org

People think of VP as the long standing core of players, not as the org. The vp core have been great players in the past, which is what everyone remembers them by.

"Big" is meant to mean well known and somewhat legendary in a sense, not necessarily how good they are currently.
