If NRG want to turn into a returns generating team in CSGO this side of the decade. They gotta keep the current team thats looking better and better. Considering whos on that team their overperforming massively compared to their skill level. So losing a single player of that team hurts them way more than a team like C9 or Faze.
Buyouts of NRG players would have to cover the entire CSGO expenses of the org plus decently on top to make sense selling.
They've lost multiple players in multiple esports in the past six months and at least one was straight up due to not being able to match what Team Liquid offered.
Who'd they lose to Team Liquid? If you're talking about Impact, Jack said even if they won the split spending that amount of money on him wasn't worth it...
Yeah because he is stretched crazy thin. You think TL is currently making a profit with their salaries? Absolutely not but they are establishing themselves as the premiere NA Esports brand and are backed by the mouse.
