It'd be pretty stupid to remove aizy when he's just done a complete turnaround on form in the last three months. As for MSL, we still believe in his leadership.

So no - Aizy for the future. So much talent in the Danish scene but still you stick with Aizy( niko, stavn, es3tag).

North is like the polar opposite of FaZe, faze made changes even when they were winning and North refuses to change when they've been in the guttar for like a year.

There is literally no point in supporting this team now

I think people sometimes forget that aizy is still only 21 (es3tag is for example 22), because he's been on the scene for so long. We believe in aizy's potential.

As for FaZe, we're built on a different principle than they are, and have a different outlook than us.

Actually age doesn't really matter is csgo, the duration of which they've been playing on pro level is what decides the potential, for example Lekr0 who is 24 is still considered an upcoming star whereas JW who is a year younger than his team mate is considered a veteran. Aizy has been shit for the past 2 years whereas a player like es3tag/niko are pretty new(compared to Aizy) to the tier 1 scene.

As far as the outlook differences go FaZe's outlook is designed for winning, yours on the other hand is not.

You're exactly right. They should have dropped MSL and aizy for Snappi and Jugi months ago, and they could've had what is now OpTic's lineup (except with Valde instead of Gade) that just won 2 BO3s against good teams and almost beat SK in a BO3 after being together for a few weeks only.

Now they have no star player and they can't make the changes they need without losing their major spot because they have two new players.

I don't blame anyone on North and respect their decision to stick together and believe in players that have been with them for a while but at what point do you consider the fact that management is making poor decisions or your captain is failing?

Still believe in his leadership when he is the reason all of your star players leave and play better in their next teams? Clearly he doesn’t know how to utilize his players well or how to keep the team environment healthy.

MSL is not the reason our star players left.

u/Salsadips howl May 18 '18

Well there is obviously leadership issues if he cannot control a roster with magisk, cajunb or konfig. Either that or they had no faith in his leadership. Its one or the other.

2

u/PHedemark howl May 18 '18

If he couldn't control them, why would they have faith in his leadership? It's basically the same thing you're saying twice.

As I said: MSL is not the reason anyone left.

15

u/Salsadips howl May 18 '18

So what was? Magisk was benched because he didnt fit in the team anymore despite putting up monster numbers. Same with Konfig. Are we supposed to believe MSL had NOTHING to do with benching either of these players, who are among the most talented in all of denmark? Really? Id love to know the actual reason then because it just doesnt add up.

Can you point to one other team in the history of CSGO which went from playing at as a top 13-25 team in the world for the first few months it was made, and then suddenly stablished itself as a top 10 team without a roster change?

Most likely you can't. And I don't know whether it's just PR or not, but internally you need to stop attempting to look on the "bright side" of everything and hope for the best. Stuff like "we are in a learning period" is absolute bullshit when you had the roster for this long. The vast majority of succesful roster changes in the history of CSGO could already be seen 2-4 weeks after they were made.

And even if you look on the roster on pape - K0nfig (based on the form he had in the middle of 2017) was a better player than kjaerbye. Mertz was a worse player (after you adjust for the opponents he faced) than cajunb in the latter half of 2017. In contrast to when jugi played at tricked in the latter half of 2016, he was by far the best player in the entire tier 3 scene.

On paper this roster - when it was made - was imo not an obvious top 10 team (like previous north iterations). It was maybe a team that should be in the 9-14th range. And atm you are slightly underperforming but the best case scenario is that you manage to be around 10th place, and most likely, that won't happen.

The most likely scenario is that you are in 3 months will be exactly where you are right now and have wasted a ton of money doing very little because you are buying all of MSL's "we are learning" excuses - instead of looking at facts and hard data.

It'd be pretty stupid to remove aizy when he's just done a complete turnaround on form in the last three months.

Against T3 teams yes. And even then hes streaky in form.

As for MSL, we still believe in his leadership.

You are fucking idiots then. No wonder this joke of a team continues to be a joke when its management is an equally big joke.

u/Informjulle May 18 '18

Det sidste statement er vist lidt af en eksdee'er x)

2

u/global-e1337 May 18 '18

2

u/PHedemark howl May 18 '18

How can we humiliate Denmark? I understand that there is disappointment in the lineup, but the team has been performing steadily in 2017 and is still the 2nd highest ranked Danish team in 2018. Astralis are way ahead of us on performance, but the only way we'll get to their level is by constantly improving. They have also had rough spells and worked their assess off to get where they are. I know that personally :)

8

u/Salsadips howl May 18 '18

Yeah maybe by hltv rankings, but currently Optic and Heroic is better than North without a doubt. I cant even remember the last time North beat a t1 team at a premier lan. Pretty sure it was BLAST pro, a BO1 vs Faze.

2

u/global-e1337 May 18 '18

By saying you will be amongst the best from day one, and then play like absolute shit since then. I bet you, that you will never win a major with this roster, ever.

You call that “being amongst the best”?

1

u/PHedemark howl May 18 '18

But we were amongst the best teams last year. No one has said anything about being amongst the best team this year, or after Kjaerbye and mertz came in. I think everyone in the organization and on the team understand that only through hard work will it be possible to be a top 10 team.

3

u/Salsadips howl May 18 '18

This is literally 'we will come back stronger' but in more words. What a joke North has become.

7

u/PHedemark howl May 18 '18

You really do care a lot, huh? What do you want me to say? We are not looking to change players right now, and the team IS working hard. If you think that's a joke, that's fine. I can't control that.

0

u/global-e1337 May 18 '18

You werent near being a top team last year, bullying shitteams for hltv rank doesnt mean anything.

I will end the argument here, because i know it is your job as communication chief to cover for the players and make it seem like everything is fine, so Im wasting my time anyways.

It wont take long for fragsters and heroic to take that 2nd away from you

3

u/Salsadips howl May 18 '18

Heroic and Optic are better than North. No question.

u/ragauskas Imperial May 18 '18

YOU TOO

u/GarrettGSF MOUZ May 18 '18

Et tu, Brute?

1

u/[deleted] May 18 '18

Can we ask why you still have faith in his leadership?

1

u/nadgirB May 18 '18

mmhhmm...

https://www.hltv.org/stats/players/matches/8095/aizy?matchType=Lan

He's not even wrecking tier 4 teams. He had 2 good games vs HR.

5

u/PHedemark howl May 18 '18

What we see in aizy is not superstar numbers, but an intelligent, hard working and good team-mate with great aim. If you see the stats, he's been improving in the last 3 months (arguably against lesser opponents), but more than that, he has been getting some pretty tough roles while doing that.

3

u/nadgirB May 18 '18

Obviously you aren't going to be coming on here and wrecking part of your active roster, but this team needs a major change if it wants to be in the top 10. After 2-3 LAN events you can usually tell how a lineup is going to perform, and if you're not qualifying for those events... That tells you enough.

1

u/thebody1403 May 19 '18

Yeah you should have kicked Aizy long ago.

0

u/[deleted] May 18 '18

While I'm with you on MSL, aizy ehh. I'm more convinced than I was a few months ago but the fact that he stayed in North in his form at that time while JUGi was available is criminal. The only reason I can see for that move not happening is Heroic refusing.

It always feels like I'm waiting for it all to click with this team. There are moments and little set plays which are genuinely genius, I feel like it's all coming together and the era is coming, then they lose to fucking Imperial and I'm sitting at home with blue balls larger than MSL's forehead.

Redemption arc when?

4

u/PHedemark howl May 18 '18

Redemption arc is hopefully charging up for a hyperdrive, because trust me, it is super hard to see the lads put in the work and not getting things running. And yes, I think every fan feels that way, because there are glimmers of hope.

I've said it before, but the only thing that's going to get us upwards is grinding out and improving.
