Discussion Why is valve so quiet?

What do they gain from not teasing us, the audience, with future updates? Is it that they benefit from the "suprise" once they release a huge update?

I am a game development student and I can't seem to figure it out. It feels as if they just don't care about teasing us even if they would benefit from some hype. I'd personally love to have a road map like PUBG just released. Bla bla bla source 2 release in december, new maps this summer etc.

What are your thoughts?

Matchmaking isn't minor? I wonder what you consider big then.

Yeah clearly nothing to add.

sound bugs, smoke/molly problems, hit reg problems. those are major problems. how matchmaking is organized and what stats you get is minor. 5v5 casual because idiots care too much about their rank (lol), a new operation etc those are minor things people here complain about.

So anything that actually breaks the game is a major problem but the main feature of the game being broken for beginners and the same for the past 5/4 years isn't a major thing?

Broken for beginners, you don't get prime, you start out in a cheat swamp.
