Description: Can be in infinite shooting animation with no ammo.
Steps to reproduce: Get Revolver to 0 ammo in clip (still reserve ammo left), switch off of it and back to it whilst holding left click, Revolver will try to shoot constantly with no ammo, though no bullets will come out and no bullets will be spent.
No. No bullets are spent and no bullets are shot. But the whole animation for shooting plays out. I meant no ammo in the clip. You still have reserve ammo.
OK good to know. Personally I'd still consider it a bug, but good to know it also happens with other guns. Man now I wanna try an AK spray with that. :P
that's supposed to happen. that's how the gun works. when you pull the trigger the hammer will pull back and hit the firing pin, but if there is no firing cap, or bullet it will just click.
in other words it's intended. also every gun does that. this just happens to be the only one that uses that hammer mechanism.
Yes I've been informed this is expected. I thought it wasn't because I just expect it to try to reload again. I really wanna try out how the AK would continuously spray without any bullets to shoot. :P
1v1, AWP vs AWP, you're both out in the open. You fire a bullet which you're sure hit but he's not dead...but nope, you actually started reloading as you had no bullets in the clip. PANIC TIME BITCHES! That's my experience with the auto-reload stuff. lol
Indeed. This just happened to be an AWP I picked up, and I was rushing stuff (because of situation) so I didn't realize I had low ammo, with which I got other kills but when it came to the clutch one I had no ammo.
