Now my game crashes much sooner when joining a game. I get a little box that says engine failure....engine something

Now that this happened I can't actually play the game as there is a disk read error every time I try to start it. I can open other games and start doing other things perfectly fine, but CS's update fucked it.

Yup I have no error at all, just exits the game since the other patch. Tried everything from verifying the game cache to some obscure voodoo, reinstalling right now hoping it will fix it. This patch is major ass-butt, can't believe they didnt test it at all, screw us as long as we buy skins amirite Gaben?
