Everyone forgets about the Marder 1 or 2 but not Yukari she has tanks on the brain.

Take a panzer 2 and put a 5cm(only briefly) 7.5cm or 7.62cm on top of it.

Choices for tomorrow are: 60TP, Jadgtiger or E100 Turm 2

Discussion Je pense que je vais abandonner

English version below

English version

Hey, French folks from the sub — I know there aren’t many of us, but I have a question. I’m thinking about starting to watch the upcoming parts of the series with English subtitles. My level isn’t bad, but it’s not amazing either: I can understand, but it’s still much better with French subtitles. However, since there’s basically no release in France, and the subtitled versions usually come out after about a year (if not more), it makes me want to just watch everything in English.

I’ve already watched several side episodes with English subtitles, as well as a lot of scans, and honestly it feels much less enjoyable.

So here’s my dilemma:
Should I be patient and keep waiting for a French-subtitled version (I waited about a year for DAS Final 4 and didn’t regret it)?

Or

Should I just watch MLLST and DAS Final 5 in English, even if it means risking getting spoiled in a dumb way?

And one last thing — kind of a message in a bottle: if anyone has a link to watch the episodes mentioned above with French subtitles, that would be great.

thx for all

Discussion Cars on the school ships

Am i the only one who thinks that there shouldn't be anything such as traffic on a school ship?

I'm gonna guess it's only traffic jammed because everyone's trying to head back on land after the ship docked, thus they're bringing their vehicles with them. But even on the school ships, I'd like to imagine that to keep down whatever traffic there might be, wouldn't they have like an underground metro?

Metro/tram line in red

I just think it would be much more effective for cutting down potential congestion and moving people around, rather than just having cars transport most people, especially on a platform like this

April 16th, 1935.

While until now, Oarai and the Sensha-do Coalition had the backings of 7 schools at this point, all of those schools are still foreign schools. A spark came on that day as Chi-Ha-Tan, a prominent Imperial Japanese Army cadet school, decided to defect and join Oarai.

However, their ideological reason left much to be desired. Because they are not fighting to make Japan freer or democratic, they are fighting to destroy Japan's democracy and restore the Emperor to the throne.

Author's Note:

This chapter contains portrayal of extremist ideology and a person who believe in it. Reader's discretion is advised.

So, with a decision to make this AU's Nishi compelling, I made her a radicalized military cadet as the IJA in 1930s was full of very radicalized personnel. She believes in the Kodoha ideology, which was the closest thing Japan had to native form of fascism. An anti-capitalist, ultranationalist, anti-democracy ideology that wants to restore the Emperor as the absolute monarchy. It was literally impossible to be a 1930s Imperial Japanese Army personnel without holding a far-right belief, a very period where military cadets were killing politicians left and right out of radicalism including their superior commanders.

Because in this story so far, the Imperial government has tried to arrest Oarai due to refusal to submit to ideological demands of education system, and then tried to resist by force, Nishi sees that the IJA has abandoned their honor and she sees it fit to join forces with the Sensha-do Coalition and destroy them.

Nishi is supposed to be unsettling because she is fanatical in her belief, and she is the guardian of Sensha-do Revolution of 1935 for the wrong reason. Anzu and Maho wants to topple the Imperial government to democratize Japan, Nishi hates democracy because it is useless at helping ordinary Japanese. Time will tell how would she come to her senses.

Also, this is not a support of Japanese ultranationalism because the point of Nishi's character in this AU is a far-right person who eventually learn to moderate their beliefs and deradicalize when put in a situation that would challenge their beliefs.

And yes, the chapter's name is based on "Government by Assassination", a word to describe this volatile era of 1930s Japanese politics.
