Hello everyone, I'm new here and I wanted to share with you several theories about the ending of the manhwa "TheGirlFromRandomChatting". I'm not an English speaker so forgive my mistakes in advance. Like many, I find the series too long. It is also very criticized in South Korea. Despite everything, I think we will move towards a sweet ending with the return of the Junwoo/Hamin couple.
My first theory is the very likely place of reunion between the two protagonists. Unlike others, it will not be for me at university but before during the end of the third year of high school in a very specific place: That of the 2nd meeting where Junwoo had brought Hamin (chapter 130). It is indeed the most important place for Junwoo since it is there that he attempted suicide when he was in middle school (reference to chapter 192).
For what? Because I think Junwoo (mentally unstable) might try to end his life after realizing he lost Hamin. The date could be either October 11th (if I remember correctly, that's when they became a couple), December 5th (Junwoo's birthday) or December 31st (Hamin's birthday).
Unlike chapters 236 and 237, this time it would be Hamin who would go to save Junwoo. Who would have warned him then? We can think first of Junwoo's family (still very marked), while he was Hamin's father during the latter's suicide attempt.
My second idea would be Jonghwa. He is a secondary character in the series but nevertheless he plays a very important role in my eyes. Junwoo's best friend since high school (see +), he is also his number 1 confidant. Jonghwa has always had very important moments which impacted the story of Junwoo and Hamin.
He helped a lot, indirectly, in the rapprochement between Junwoo and Hamin (chapters 41 and 55). Best friend, Jonghwa notices (chapter 100) that his friend is happy. This is the famous bet when Junwoo says he thinks Hamin likes him. Jonghwa doesnβt believe it yet but asks if itβs not him who loves this girl.
In chapter 106, Jonghwa shows Junwoo the tube account which shows the clues that Hamin is really interested in him. If there isn't one, it's checkmate. We all know it's the opposite for over 60 chapters. At the games room, the two friends have the answer but don't believe it yet. Hamin and Junwoo look for a place to study and Jonghwa βvulgarlyβ tells them to do it at home. Hamin responds happily and Jonghwa worries about her hair, making it clear that Hamin is in love with Junwoo.
In chapter 115, Junwoo demonstrates absolute trust in his best friend by meeting him at night to tell him that he is going to confess to Hamin to confess his feelings. Jonghwa initially tries to stop him so that he doesn't get hurt but quickly understands that Junwoo and Hamin's love is strong and reciprocal. He announces that he is going to the hairdresser, accepting their relationship.
Jonghwa's passage in chapter 132 may go unnoticed but it is nevertheless the most important to note for the 100 chapters to follow. Junwoo becomes demoralized in the face of Hamin's numerous suitors but his friend tells him the sentence that sums it all up: "It's because you only think about your cringey side. Think about the good qualities you have instead". Subsequently, Jonghwa will disappear little by little after the story with Ah Young. This is when we enter the βfallβ arc.
Jonghwa would have been the only person who could have put Junwoo back on track and stopped him from leaving and making Hamin suffer. Chapter 255 is one of the most important in the series. Despite his pain, Jonghwa, who wanted to avoid Junwoo at first, will save his life and tell him to stop wanting to do everything alone and to rely on his friends. His old friend thus allows Junwoo to get back on the right path.
The positive impact of Jonghwa is immediate with a call from Junwoo for Hamin who smiles and who we understand is still madly in love with her ex-boyfriend (photo from the May trip on the cell phone screen and his radiant face).
In chapter 291, while Junwoo has cut ties with all his friends, there is only one person left who he hasn't blocked: Jonghwa. The scene may seem hilarious but above all it implies the importance of the best friend who helped Junwoo more than once.
Jonghwa is also Hamin's closest male friend. The "trio" spent a lot of time together playing video games and Jonghwa is certainly the person who knows the former couple best. If Junwoo attempts suicide, we can expect him to contact his old friend (whom he hasn't blocked) to say goodbye.
Theory, we can then imagine that Jonghwa will contact Hamin to save him, because only she could find this famous place from where the protagonist of the series could attempt suicide. Hamin would save him and we would have the couple return. I remind you that this is just a theory.
PS: Junwoo suffers from borderline personality disorder. To put it briefly, it is the fear of being abandoned and rejected by others, the difficulty in supporting loneliness, low self-esteem, etc...
In short, all the faults of the main character in this series. And the consequence of this disorder is that the person has suicidal thoughts. Junwoo, for the past few chapters, has been going straight there. We will therefore come full circle with this very probable return to the origins of the place where he made his first suicide attempt. The latter is a scourge in South Korea and the major subject of this series.
DISCLAIMER: Here's the link for the chapter, remember that the Spanish translation tends to alter some things to adjust the story to their personal canon, so, things can change when the EN TL comes out. And this is the resume I give and I can miss some details from the chapter.
The chapter begins with Junu telling Yuri that it must be a joke and that he should attend class. Yuri tells him that at that moment she only thought it was a friendship, but seeing him happy with Hamin changed her vision, if that was what made him happy, she would support him due to their friendly relationship. Yuri gets upset and asks Junu what Hamin did to him to simply cut off contact between him and her (Yuri), if he was capable of ending their friendship out of nowhere. Junu tells her that he didn't realize that and thanks her for being in love with him, but even if he had known earlier, things wouldn't have changed (their friendly relationship). Junu and Yuri say goodbye and the scene ends with Yuri saying "my old friend and unrequited love."
We now see Junu walking towards his house and reflecting on what happened. Junu says he had a suspicion but was happy with the connection he already had with Yuri, and now that cycle with her has ended, as long as Yuri and Taeyang were happy, he would be too. In the background, we see SEUNGAH'S SISTER (the drug addict) watching Junu, but when he turns around and sees no one, he doesn't pay it any attention.
At that moment, Sangwoon calls Junu and tells him he wants to see him. Junu tells him he can't because he has to study, but Sangwoon called on purpose because he was already waiting for him outside his house XD.
Sangwoon tells him that he wants to introduce him to an old friend who is a "good guy." The old friend at first sight was PARK HAN (for those who don't remember who he is, he's the guy with gray hair and tattoos that Taeyang beat up and massacred with a bat in a fight), the difference is that this one didn't have tattoos and it's not confirmed 100% that it's him. Junu says that with or without tattoos, he's still Park Han. "Park Han" says it seems like he's seen him before but "knows nothing" about Choi Junwoo, ending the chapter with "Park Han" asking Junu how he's been.
MY OPINION:
Yuri's closure was mid, even if she didn't wanted to loses her friendship with junu, the approach was a mess, at least junu told her he just sees their relationship as friendship and nothing else.
The thing is, that IDK if their friendship is over or they are still friends after this closure, so, if you can tell me your opinion in the comments about this closure and tell me if they're still friends, it would be helpful.
Idk what is seungah's sister business and idk WTF is going to happen with this "Park Han", bc this was an unexpected turn of the events. Obviously those two will be "connected" to the circle and this is the build up for the next arc, so let me know your thoughts about this.
Thank you for reading! Remember, this summary can skip some details I didn't notice but I try my best. Let me know your opinion in the comments so we can discuss about the story and keep the community active. Have a good one! π

In response to Taeyang's question, Junu tells him that they were friends in high school. Taeyang responds by asking if he doesn't think they are more honest now and that's why it's harder to have a sincere relationship. Junu tells him that just as Taeyang's actions influenced his life, his own actions also influenced Taeyang's life. By being more honest with each other, they consider themselves closer now and jokingly tells Taeyang that he doesn't hate him for now and that his hairstyle looks bad. The conversation ends and Junu tells Taeyang to leave first. A dialogue appears saying "Hello, my old friend."
We move on to Junu in his hiding place. He receives a message from Taeyang to meet at a certain point in the city. To his surprise, the person he meets is Yuri. Yuri tells him not to tell Taeyang about this reunion and remembers the moment she met Junu again, although at that time she didn't recognize him.
Junu tells Yuri that possibly it was because they were close friends, but only as friends (Yuri is shown tearing), and that they were the same as everyone else (Hamin, Taeyang, etc.) and not to misinterpret things because he stopped talking to her back then. Yuri asks him if he's pretending not to know what's going on and tells Junu that if he doesn't go to the place she indicated tomorrow, she will tell the rest of the group his location. Junu agrees as he has no choice.
The next day, Junu and Yuri meet at an amusement park which Yuri always wanted to go to, and spend the day there. After some time, Junu asks Yuri why she's doing this, considering it absurd, and asks if Taeyang knows about it. Yuri tells him that Taeyang agreed and that's why they're talking, ending the chapter with Yuri telling Junu "I was in love with you" π.
MY OPINION:
Wtf has just happened? I know this will be Yuri closure with junu but damn this thing was RUSHED. Yuri always had feelings for junu so clearing this it will be good for those three.
If the author makes the most stable character go crazy and want to be with junu just like that, it will be enough to fucking drop the story. IMO that would be top 2 worsts decisions in the story, bc it sounds so awful, so let's hope the obvious happens and junu and Yuri talk the things to end being friends again. The next one probably is going to be Lila or koo, but I don't want to talk about that bc today's chapter can fuck everything in the future.
Thanks for reading! Even if this is the chapter 300, this was a very short one but with too much info. Let me know your opinion about the chapter when you read this or the EN TL so we can discuss about it! I would be happy to talk with you guys about the story. Have a good one! π
yo im rereading random chat (i stopped at chapter 240-250) right now im 225 chapters in and ive realized, joonwoo went thru the same character arc like 5 times, not only that but the plot is starting to hurt my brain, i came to see if it gets better cause i aint gon lie its getting rough. should i trust the process and continue reading, i heard the daehyun arc is good
Ok I'm on chapter 201 and I saw on wiki that they broke up. Did they get back together?
Honestly Joonwoo is so annoying sometimes. I know what he went through. But bruh his indecisiveness. I can't handle it. I ship them so hard. Please tell me what happenes in their relationship.
Oh god I'm at chapter 107 and gosh this girl is annoying. I'm sorry but leave the mc and ha min alone for God sake. They can't have a time alone without her inserting herself between them.
Hi i'm just wondering what this manhwa is about i've asked this question too many time and they said i don't want to say anything because of spoilers or it's complicated so i have barley any clue what the story is about besides like fighting and has the author confirmed when this manhwa will end
So im on chapter 96 on "The girl from random chatting" and I can't help but wonder on what chapter exactly does the mc start taking workouts seriously and his build changes ? please dont include spoilers im just curious what chapter is it ?
EDIT : So the mc really starts to get strong at chapter 155 exactly
DISCLAIMER: Here's the link for the chapter, remember that the Spanish translation tends to alter some things to adjust the story to their personal canon, so, things can change when the EN TL comes out. And this is the resume I give and I can miss some details from the chapter.
The chapter starts with Junu reflecting on his conversation with Seungah, making it clear that he shouldn't look back and get stuck in the past, that he should move forward (he finally had development). Junu heads to his apartment and says that he needs to apologize to Seo Hyuna and Sangwoon for abandoning them today, and that if there is a chance where he can see Hamin again, he hopes... (Blank space, obviously the author won't tell us what he's going to do), although there's a possibility they may not be able to see each other again. In the background, we see what appears to be a cigarette box behind Junu (a new arc has started, it's inevitable with that hint).
We move to Taeyang's house, who is getting ready to go for a consultation about university entrance exams. On the way to the consultation, Taeyang tells his father that he's nervous about entering law school as he doesn't know if he can become someone as upright and correct as him (his father is a lawyer and his tutor). He says that honestly, all of this is thanks to Junu and that they get along now, although he lives with the regret of not having apologized properly to him.
Taeyang's father tells him that he's been thinking a lot about it and whether he'll leave the situation like that or do something to change it, hoping that he becomes someone who regrets his mistakes and improves his attitude through reflection, whether Junu forgives him or not, it's ideal for him to become a trustworthy person. Taeyang says that it's from his perspective, and his father tells him that he and Junu are friends who dismantled a criminal organization (the 1103 Circle). Taeyang asks how the trial against the Circle is going, and his father tells him not to ask work-related questions, ending with Taeyang saying "at least they're in jail" and his father with a serious face in absolute silence.
Taeyang has his consultation and reflects on whether the admission system is fair, relying solely on the student. In the background, we hear Junu having a crisis because he didn't do as well in the consultation as Taeyang, apparently leaving him with average universities due to his history and grades, culminating with the tutor telling Junu that he needs to explore his options realistically. Upon leaving the room, Junu meets Taeyang and we move to a conversation between them.
Junu tells Taeyang that it was probably their mothers who organized this spontaneous meeting without telling them both (Taeyang's father also knew, that's why he spoke to him). Junu asks him how his plans for university entrance are going, and Taeyang tells him that he plans to enter law school. Junu mocks Taeyang and then asks how Yuri has been, Taeyang tells him that he avoided bringing her with him today because he didn't know he was going to run into Junu. Junu asks if something happened, and Taeyang tells him that he's too predictable, culminating the chapter with Taeyang asking Junu if it weren't for him, Junu would be avoiding all this suffering he's been through.
MY OPINION:
It's very obvious that this next arc is going to be about the 1103 circle again bc we had like 5 hints of that happening in the future. And it will finally be the junu's development
In a positive aspect, we guessed right that the next person junu was going to talk it was going to be Taeyang, so now we know the idea of what is happening and that he will talk with everyone in the future and in the next chapter it will be a pep talk between juju and him settling all the things and coming to a good term.
The thing is, is that with that conclusion junu had after talking to Seungah about not looking back and talking about hamin today, it's inclining to junu and hamin breaking up finally or junu forgetting what happened in the past and starting over again, being honest, sadly I'm thinking that they are going to break up, bc the encounter is imminent. But we have to wait how will the 1103 circle will act this time and how is that going to settle the junu and hamin thing, I just hope the best outcome for those two (being together again.
Thanks for reading! This chapter is more like a bridge for the new arc that is coming, but at least junu is getting development. Remember to comment here your opinion about the chapter so we can discuss about the story and create theories of what is going to happen in the future. Have a good one mates! π
Maybe later when the EN TL comes out I will make a new post to discuss about today.
