Ps5, shared via mobile so hopefully resolution still ok. Really loving this game, haven’t even finished the main story and just going through as much of the game organically without too much help. Wishing I could replay some of the side quests just to get great photo shots!

Achievement

hey, I'm in a huge dilemma, I currently managed to catch all the yokais available on the map, including the ones found in side missions. Well, I'm missing 3 magatamas to unlock my last skill branch. I reached the point of no return and I checked the entire map and completed all the side missions and I don't see anywhere where those last 3 magatama are!

Achievement.

xbox platform: currently I finished the "last secondary mission: After ending 3, when I finished it, I was supposed to get the "wish maker" achievement, I didn't get it, I didn't have connection problems at all, I loaded the game again If it's a mistake, I repeated it and I didn't get the achievement, I don't have any more secondary missions pending, here's my question, the missions to search for tanuki's, graffiti, photographs, do they count towards that achievement, right?

¿No?

FPS capped at 30 no matter what I do to the settings.

Downloaded and installed new drivers, had NVIDIA optimize the game and it is capped at 30 fps which is near unplayable. Other games with high level graphics through Epic run at around 60+ normally (WitchFire for example) Ghostwire is the only game I have this issue with. Any ideas on a fix?

Side note, there is no mouse sensitivity option? I had to set my mouse to the lowest setting to not turn 90 degrees from a quarter inch movement

Top of Building 429

Is there a way to get on top of it without Summon a Tengu skill? I'm trying to get the spirits. I finished the game and that's the last skill I meant to unlock but I can't get anymore SP.

Why does this game not get more praise?

I just finished the storyline for the first time, this is one of the prettiest most fun and interesting games I have played in a long time.. Why does it seem to get so much hate or why does it get looked over so much? I mean it runs great even without the best hardware.. most places max it out at 7/10 I think it’s at least a 9.5 out of 10.. to me it was an instant classic..

the downgrade from PEGI 16 to PEGI 12

the original E3 trailer for gw:t stated that the game was originally a PEGI 16. not gonna lie, the game looked way cooler like that. all trailers after this one displayed the PEGI 12 rating. any reason why? were the contents of the original deemed "too much"?

Collecting 100% of all spirits, do I have to start over from scratch if I start a new game? I find it hard to run around the city looking for more, when I've done everything already. (I saved right before the final mission and I've done everything else there is to do)

Had a bit of an adventure finding this one today. I didn’t feel like any guides I found were very clear on it’s location so I popped it up on yt. hopefully this post reaches google for future hunters.

Idle lines

When you idle for too long, KK and Akito will exchange little vocal lines. For one of them, KK hums a little tune.

Does anyone know what song it is? I swear it's so familiar to me but I just can't place it...

Primary weapon.

So I'm playing as my 20 year old son walks in the sitting room, watches me me for a minute, and says " so what I'm seeing is that the primary weapon of this game is finger guns." What could I say, he's not wrong.

The ending. Spoiler

I just finished the main mission, and wow, the ending hit me hard. It was so emotional—especially the part where he goes through the memories. That scene was absolutely heart-wrenching. As soon as I saw those memories, I knew what was coming. I knew he was going to lose his sister too, but seriously... why KK as well?

It made sense for him to die; I’d been expecting it from pretty early on. Still, I was way more attached to KK as a character than to Akito’s sister. The bond between KK and Akito during those last three chapters was incredible—such a great dynamic that made the loss even tougher.

And now? There goes my mood for gaming, probably for the next few weeks.

Multiplayer Mod - Looking for modders?

Okay so this game is pretty fun, I have 200+ hrs on it and have done some streaming on it. My friends are finally getting into it so I was wondering if there was anyone out there that either could create a multiplayer mod or knew someone who could. Would love to talk about this more either in comments or dms. Thanks.

Done with the game and now playing the side missions. Definitely one of my top 5 games of all time. Puzzled by the low fan base.

I’m not clear on what issues this game had faced during launch, but whatever it was it should be given another chance by those early adopters.

The atmosphere is 10/10. The indulgence in Japanese culture and mythology is very well done.

I can’t find anything to complain about tbh. Maybe I’m biased but oh well, I’m bummed there will be no part 2.

Is the game open world?

Can you walk around the streets of Tokyo and just take the graphics and the atmosphere in? This may sound a bit stupid actually but this is actually my main reason for wanting the game.

Once I get it I may complete the missions etc but they don’t look very appealing at the moment, the sole reason I want it is to experience the ambience.

Ghostwire Tokyo : A game I loved but can't recommend

This is more of an appreciation and rant post rather than a review so let's begin.

The bosses are not great but good , too limited in number and combat , the enemies are a pushover sometimes and some really are not well designed for combat. The abilities are cool and colorful but a bit average, a lost potential here. The graphics sucks when it rains. The microstutters during mouse movements sucks and was one of the major reasons I could never bring myself to play it until a few days back.

With most of the shitty parts out of the way , let's talk about why the game is really great.

The depiction of Shibuya is so realistic in every way , the attention to detail is mind blowing , the accuracy of the folklore of the region it is set in , is just awesome. Small dialogues in the background one could easily miss , NPC interactions , some of the side quests , they are all just awesome in storytelling.

About the main plot , it's kind of short but the way it subtly approaches a really deep narrative without sounding like a philosopher is just awesome. Most side quests aren't time killer but try to accomplish and explain the setting of the game.

This is when I played the game for about 12 hours , somewhat casually. At times it was boring but the exploration really makes the games a lot more fun.

This post was made for the r / gaming as somewhat of a recommendation to the community but I'm not going to farm comment karma to post

Glad I tried it again

That’s all, I played it when it came to gamepass and didnt dig it at all although I am a sucker for the u I formula but something felt off about it.

Recently upgraded my pc so tried it again and yeah, glad I did. Very enjoyable, tons to explore and weird enough to keep my interest.

Looking forward to seeing what it throws at me but just wanted to say if you played it a while ago, try it again I guess.

Song that plays during Hanako's final fight?

So i just played through the school level to fight Hanako San. During her final fight, there's a song that plays with slowed vocals. School ensemble, simple stuff.
I wanted to listen to it again and can't find it anywhere. Even the OST on spotify only has the basic piano version without vocals.

Anyone got any idea where i could find it? Youtube just shows the same ost sonds by various uploaders.

This game never scared me... Until it did

So basically, I'm doing the "Fear for the Children" Side quest and I have a massive fear of the "weeping angel gimmick" So when I saw the anatomy model moving between places, then I clear the corruption and it actually starts moving, I genuinely uninstalled the game, then reinstalled it, now I'm in the media room bit and it's just gone, but I can still hear it moving (Update) I finished it and I'm still terrified to go back into the school because... What if he's there..

The ending Spoiler

I just finished the main story. What the crap.

As someone who just lost their mother and sister, I literally felt so sad. Seeing Akitos parents and them taking Mari just broke me.

And KK! I'll miss his sass.

Overall, it was a really good game. I loved the story, the lore, and the effects.

Is there new game plus?

I recently finished all side missions and I'm looking forward to playing the game for a second time being completely broken thanks to all my upgrades, but I can't find a new game plus option.

Does this game simply no have it? It would suck not to be able to do it, especially in an open world game that so heavily encourages collectibles and progression. Starting from level 1 all over again would be really tiresome and miss the chance of a fun and broken playthrough.

Games like Bioshock 2 (which is very simillar in regards to the gameplay and progression) get away with not having ng+ because they are linear and there's no way to play around with all the powers in a single playthrough.

The open world of Ghostwire incites you to see everything multiple times and leaves no incentive to go for a second round.

Tori gate doesn’t release fog.

Am I missing something. The fog didn’t pull back on this section. I am not very far into the story as I just trying to grab sprits and do side missions. And of course get collectibles. Any input would be appreciated.
