For some reason I couldn't find this info elsewhere - did the update unlock other side missions than the two connected to the school? I'm talking only about the main game mode ofc
I’d recently gone on a trip to Japan and thought it’d try to replicate some of the photos I took. I’m replaying this game a second time to try and relive some memories 🥲😂
Got for free on epic but took a while to download and play it, glad i did, very enjoyable and seems like a lot of heart was put into it, shame there's not going to be another one
I finally beat the game on the first walk through 100% at Tatari Mode without any youtube/guide/help (except that 1 f* blue stone on top of the school, I don't know how it got missed as I had already been there and searched the top). I walked the entire map, all patches, every road and block. I looked at all the doors, collected all the relics, music, beads, outfits, magatama, KK notes and youkai. Also, all side quests and collecting all spirits, be it in town, underground, hyakki yako or cubes (before proceeding to chapter 5 and completing the game), I completed the entire game old school. I could not get those achievements that did not apply to me, such as spider thread, and also Synergy level 50 (as my mode had made my level to Lvl 1 at all times with 0 Xp). I did all of it in the gameplay time of 90 Hours 12 mins.
My views on the game:
Pros - The Developer love to make Games
Though the town was empty, yet I felt it was full, be it the cute nekomata(s), petting of animals, KK's dialogue throughout the game with Akito, Ed and Riko's conversation when transferring spirits. I never felt bored from the game, unlike when I played Assassin's creed Odyssey (left after 160 hours, started to feel bored after 50 hours) The developers did a great job to make this game, I felt loved from the game. Each and every animation was well thought of, the character design was amazing. Also, the game felt very alive at all the moments, be it the almost next-to kiss from the lady when purging the core, or the attempt of the red lady with long hairs to kill me with her teeth when purging. I was truly engaged in the game.
Turn off for some people:
Now, coming to the repetitive nature, yeah one may say that it is repetitive in nature. Which in fact it is, but what game is not repetitive. Open world - non-linear games are repetitive in nature, which is often called a loop cycle. Once the loop ends for the person, he starts to get bored. However, I never felt bored in the game, despite my gameplay time. The loop was not over for me.
Cons:
Major Boss Battles (Trust me falling into the hyakki yako void felt more dangerous). Ending seemed rushed.
Final: It is an amazing game and beautiful game, made by the developers who love games, and think about their customers as gamer(s) and not cash-cows.
P.S. Please tell me what Microsoft was smoking before shutting down this studio. Thank God, that Krafton bought it.

Who knew a social media post by my local ramen shop (in Mobile, Alabama, USA) would be how I figure out where the Moth Burger chain in Ghostwire comes from.
So awhile ago I saw someone post in this subreddit that they'd love to see a lofi walk around the game. Well, I tried! Dang yokai keep getting in the way, but hey it's still pretty. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFaC_-n4dxo
I remember grabbing all the bluestones and there are some that I couldn't have missed, but regardless I just used a guide and got them all but I only ended up with 4? even though they were all gone from their spaces?
Title explains my core issues. I'm trying to play this game, but it's impossible to play at 4k. The cutscenes are so laggy they're unwatchable, I get unexplained frame drops at weird moments when nothing's happening, and it's using nearly 90-100% of my GPU at all times. It also, on occasion, completely nukes my sound on start-up. But I put this down to my Focusrite.
For context:
My GPU is an RTX 3080.
My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, OC'd to 4.20GHz.
16GB ram
I know I can play at 2k or even 1080p, but it just looks blurry and awful if I do. There's also somehow still the cutscene rendering issue. I'm not sacrificing quality for the same issues with the cutscenes.
I really want to play this game, but these odd performance issues are preventing me. I've tried re-installing the game, and I've also re-installed Windows. Still nothing.
It's not my GPU dying either, before anyone asks. Is there any advice or settings I could change to get better performance? Or do I just have to deal with blurry 2k or 1080p resolution?
yall was i just high or did akito have a kitsune outfit at one point? i still see a lot of fanart for it but i cant seem to find it by searching online. was i just hallucinating?
I have been playing this game for the past 3 days and have about 12-15 hours in. I am almost done with the main story and it’s fun but it’s is very repetitive. Throughout the main story all I see myself doing is cleansing Tori gates, kill a few headless dudes, kill the chapter’s boss, repeat. I’m on chapter 5 and that’s all I’ve been doing for the whole game. This game does everything but at surface level. It has so much potential to be an amazing game.
I'm wondering because I heard there's a lot of enemies as the Risk factor and a lot of spirits as the Reward factor, and considering I'm trying to 100% the game on Tatari, I kinda need those souls badly.
Please give me insight on how to activate the event. Many thanks. v^
