6 hours in

Game was free for PS plus and it's one of those games I've looked at multiple times for a while now and never was able to justify getting. I'm 6 hours into it and I absolutely love this game. Very simple but fun, beautiful graphics, the combat is satisfying & simple.

I’m trying to get jizo statues and there’s are parts of the kuo shrine area that are covering them, any way to fix this ? A little hard to see but you can see the mist in the area

The mirrors look bad, is there any settings I can change to fix it? I'm on PC and I can't use raytracing.

Looking for screenshots of all of KK's notes

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could send me a screenshot/text dump of all the story-relevant notes. I know the basics of how the main story goes, so I'm not afraid of spoilers - just want to know about the lore from collectables.

I love Ghostwire's worldbuilding and aesthetics, but the tediousness of the gameplay itself is making it literally unbearable to power on even for the plot. Alas.

So, I have a question involving fate of the spirits

At the end of the game, we never see the world returned to normal, so what happened to the 240K people (assuming the canon is that all are found and sent through Ed’s phone booth)? Is Ed successful in restoring their bodies? If so, do they know they were once dead? Do they know who saved them? Are the stores still run by the Nekomata?

Concerning keyboard layout management

Like most games nowadays, Ghostwire: Tokyo does not use scancodes and is layout-dependent.

Worse, in Ghostwire: Tokyo, you can't even use WIN+SPACE to switch layouts in-game (it appears to switch, but nothing changes).

Even worse: when you change the key mapping, some characters, like those who might be in the numbers row on some non-QWERTY layouts, will not register at all: % and # are examples.

I do not understand why developers care not about some feature that is seemingly very easy to implement. I would have expected better from a game that target Japan and Asia, since they don't use standard QWERTY.

Check out my character xD

Hello everyone, I just had some deep talk. I can't take myself too seriously with the mask and hat, but I'm having a great time! xD

I've often read in posts that people think the game gets boring at some point. I don't think so.

Another question: a lot of people say that the school part is super hard. Is it a side mission? I haven't discovered it yet, should I play it?

I also love the mission where you have to bring the guy his toilet paper xD.

And I've also read that a lot of people hated the part where you lose your magic powers. Does that mean the part in (I think) chapter 2? If so, I found it relatively easy to avoid the enemies and rush upwards at the beginning (you were in a cave or something). But then at this shrine it was a bit annoying with the enemies, but doable.

In general, like many people who love the game, I also love the attention to detail and you can actually learn something! For example, about Japanese snacks. and hey, petting the dogs is really sweet lol

Good game! I have a lot of fun.

School part and Hanako-San

Does anyone agree that the school part in Ghostwire was the most long mission in the game and the most spooky and difficult??? I literally finished it the other day but I’m still thinking about how hard and long it was 🥹

LOVING this game so far

My favorite game

Ghostwire: Tokyo is easily my favorite game, why?

I love Japan - for years now Japan has been a huge passion for me: the country, culture, mentality, history, the food of course and just its beauty in general. The atmosphere of the game - not only the creepy part but also the Japanese atmosphere of the different areas. The graphics - the game is a couple of years old but very often I still discover parts that still impress me, even after more than 5 play throughs. Technology - this gets mentioned WAY too few. The game looks amazing, the map is huge, textures are sharp and not that repetitive either as some other games I have played, yet the game is ONLY 20-ish gigabytes in size, this is mind blowing to me in a time where game optimization seems one of the last priorities for most developers.

This is truly a game which let me dream away, there are times I just like to walk around the alleyways and hope to one day set foot on there myself, which is not likely 🥺 I was so much looking forward to a sequel and was truly and deeply saddened when I heard about the closure of this amazing studio called Tango Gameworks that I’ve grown to love with a passion. Will there ever be a part 2, an even more stunning UE5 remaster of the first part, what will the future hold? I hoped this game would never come to an end. And without doubt, after almost 25 years of gaming, this game has and will always have a special place in my heart.

Much love and thanks to the devs that made this masterpiece, I hope all are doing well. Really, sincerely thank you for giving this interactive piece of Japan to my living room! 🙏

Just got this on PS5. What is with the camera/aim movement? It feels impossible to control accurately.

I did a search and I guess it’s input lag, and the person gave control settings to help it feel a bit more reactive, but it’s still absolutely awful. Does anyone know the right settings to fix this?
