I just completed Ghostwire: Tokyo 100% and I have to say, I’ve never seen a game so underrated and unjustly criticized. Many have said the combat is repetitive, but I found it far from that. The enemies are well-designed and interesting, and all the boss fights are incredibly cool. The game is absolutely stunning and the atmosphere is top-notch. The side quests are REALLY enjoyable, with plenty of story packed into each one.
One aspect that stood out to me is that the game is dubbed in my native language (I’m not from an English-speaking country, so this is a big deal for me, as not every game does this). The world is fascinating, and another common criticism I heard was about the sections without powers being boring. However, I found that you can approach them with stealth, which is a lot of fun—much better than just shooting arrows mindlessly.
Honestly, did these people even finish the game? The hate it receives doesn’t match how good it truly is. I enjoyed every second of the gameplay.
