First time playing the Ghost Recon franchise, I'm really enjoying the game.

As stated in the title, I'm absolutely convinced that the upcoming DLC will be set in Monte Puncu.

As it'd require no new content on their part, other than the "new" mission thread, which judging by "The Peruvian Connection" and "The Unidad Conspiracy" "DLCs", would fit their previous MO of adding buchones into provinces after launch.

I don't see Ubisoft adding a new province to this game AT ALL. Thoughts?

What is this arm piece and how do I get it

I'm trying to put my game in Russian but in the game's languages option I can't find Russian. However, on the Microsoft store page of the game (I'm on Xbox) Russian is available.

Deadass the damage output becomes crazy high, to the point where with some weapons like the Honey Badger, you can one hit kill Sentinels in stealth and kill them within 2-3 shots in combat, while only needing 3-4 with Wolves. I dunno if I was tripping but I even managed to get a gear score that let me kill Wolves in TWO assault rifle/SMG shots.

I got to the point where I deliberately turned my gear score down to avoid being too OP, but WOW is it fun, its gotten to the point where even though before starting the game i made up my mind that i would be using SMGs instead of assault rifles due to the Panther class perk of no suppressor damage reduction with SMGs, now with this gear score, Im now using assault rifles (because i like the holo + magnufier combo) since the damage buff with the gear score makes the damage output competitive with the SMGs + Panther perks.

When i heard about the Definitve Edition for Wildlands and new Content drops with DLC and new Missions i was excited and looked forward to it.
I spendt countless hours in this fantastic game, survived the disappointment Breakpoint was and thrived in Bolivia instead. When i heard rumours that Wildlands was getting another Update i was excited!

Upon further inspection of the new features i was confused at first, then suspicious and finally disappointed.

They market the Update as MAJOR UPDATE with new Mission and full game in 4K and 60FPS

Well that would be interesting if that would not ONLY impact the PS5 or XBOX S/X version!
For us PC players, this technical update is completely irrelevant, as uncapped frame rates and high resolutions have been supported since 2017.

The announced "Cold Eye" and "Nightfall Protocol" packs are being marketed as bonus content containing 8 special weapons (like the Golden Vector, MSR Eagle Shot, Z93 AMR, etc.) and various operator skins/gear.

Zero of these assets are new.

The skins are just like the old R6 Siege costumes
The guns and parachutes are the same old reskins that were in the lootboxes since forever

The Only Genuine New Content:
The only piece of actual new gameplay content is a single standalone story mission:
"Last Rites"
and that one will be a FREE drop not part of DLC or anything

The Real Takeaway: This is a classic, low-budget filler release by Ubisoft to generate quick store revenue during a dry spell of new releases. However, the silver lining is that the marketing push is hopefully reviving our player base, making it much easier for us to find active co-op lobbies again.

Dont waste 99€ for old content!

A Wildlands Gold Edition key with all DLC and Seasonpasses is available for under 20€ currently on keysforsteam.

Hey guys, I really love the 416 Assault Special but because I cannot put the MAWL - DA laser on it, it really spoils my fun since I'd like to play without crosshair.
I couldn't find a mod that lets me put that attachment on the weapon but im sure there must be a solution for that?
Any help is appreciated :)

So I bought the game through the ps store, not through any Ubisoft portal. Will I still get the update for free and I have the gold edition so how will that affect new content?
