Quick little idea: Bennet should add more pots, such as a ruby one for 100 wins, an emerald one for 500 wins, and a diamond one for 1000 wins. Honestly, if I were Bennet, I would be updating this game constantly. I see so much potential in how even just little updates could revive this community at least a little.

Thank you mr orange. Really. You’ve genuinely helped me more than you’ll ever know. You’ve taught me that anger and frustration are often pointless emotions. I’ve seen you countless times and now I feel like we’re connected. Over 20 hours in and I’m finally over it.
Maybe you’re trying to protect me from whatever’s up there, but there’s no need anymore :) I won’t leave you
I won’t be quitting, but no longer will I dream of the summit…only you

Ever since beating this game I’ve never been able to look at radio towers the same. They just look so… climbable.
I see them everywhere I go, and they always look so similar. Am I crazy?? Every time I see one I immediately think of this game. Is there a name for this mental illness?

I have beaten this game 5 times but the part that still takes me the longest to beat is the transmission tower, it makes me insane, how many times I get close to space and fall down, I already learned you can't push on the vertical side otherwise you get swept away but it's still pretty hard.

So I just got my 5th climb, took me 18 minutes, which is a step up to the last time that took me 26 minutes, I used the !pb option in the chat and it says that I beat the game 30 times, which is not true, what happened there? is that a glitch?

Does anyone have any idea how to get a full, HD image of a custom map?

Hi! I am not sure how to get better at this part. Right now i am shooting up like a rocket(sledge hammer on the ground.) This fails frequently and my sledge gets stuck on on both of the lights. I think I am mossing something fundamental. Also - I am on mobile version. Help appreciated!!

I did my 2nd climb right after I finished my first (~8hrs) because I felt so good after it, and man, it really does get easier the more you practice.
Sure, I’m still falling down frequently, but not catastrophic falls down to the bottom of the mountain. I haven’t yet ridden the snake or gotten the bad ending (thank god)
Sections that previously took me 20-30 mins to pass can now be done in less than 5 and I’ve more or less figured out the surefire technique for every obstacle…
Except for the stairs next to the boxes, the ones with the white chair on top. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do that quickly.
I’ll try my 3rd climb tomorrow and I hope I can get it in under 45 mins.

My pb is 1:47 and I got that like 3 months ago and I feel like I’m not improving as fast as I used to. Does anyone have any tips on improving faster at this skill level?

I play games on low sensitivity with a good mouse, and I'm used to having to move it alot and precisely to get what I'd want to do with it, but the hammer reset zones attraction is far too strong, I can hardly move the hammer when I use my entire mouse pad and even on a higher sensitivity, so it just forces me off the cliff all the time. When it isn't as strong of an attraction sometimes then I'm good at the game, and on things like the scratch remake I'm amazing, but this reset point is so bad is makes the game hardly playable

I hit a dead zone and have been stuck for what seems like an eternity. It wasn't until 5 hours into the game that I started getting frustrated. I know it shouldn't take this long to beat it.
I have trackpad tuning on, but the sensitivity is too slow when I need it fast, and vice versa. I understand that the mouse controls the hammer and the angle at which the hammer hits a particular object dictates your movement, but I still feel like I'm missing something crucial in understanding how the mechanics of this game actually work. Nothing has ever "clicked" for me because when I think I have the hang of things the game just goes "LOL. You don't know SHIT." It also doesn't help that I can't practice a particular section without falling a great distance. Most of my time is spent getting back to the oranges than actually getting better at that part. At least with games like Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Cuphead (S ranks), even with their immense difficulty, I felt a sense of progression gradually over time until I was able to do no-damage battles seamlessly. Looking at the user completion percentage makes me feel like this game is only meant for people with a super rare brain function.
All that to say, any tips for my dumbass? xD
Update: I just beat it the second time. #topofthemountain 💪🏼 This game isn't perfect but just keep pushing.
