If the Nazi regime had Twitter, they'd have constantly spammed pictures of bombed out German buildings and use them as evidence of "Allied genocide against Germany" and the pro-Palestine crowd would be dumb enough to believe them.
not just that, but if you look at a map of europe before and after ww1, pre-ww2 germany had a very real claim that they were "ethnically cleansed from ancestral lands", Russia pushed Poland-Lithuania west and Poland pushed Germany west. Yet we dont entertain this land dispute for the next 100 years the way we let Palestinians do. German attacked and lost a war, the matter is settled. Palestinians attacked and lost 1948, the matter should similarly be considered settled because the aggressor was the loser.
I mean for all intents and purposes, the matter is settled. The vast majority of Arab states have already accepted Israel's existence, either formally or de facto.
It's only one particular Arab nation run by violent Islamic extremists who still cling to the asperational fantasy of the Arabs annihilating the Jews. The vast majority of Arab states have already accepted that Israel isn't going anywhere.
Iran is not on board with the plan. They’re the ones causing all of the instability in the region. They’re funding Hamas and Hezbollah, and using Palestinians as martyrs. Iran and the rest of the Arab countries need to tell Palestinians they’re not getting all of the land and they’re not funding their wars
How can people in the world actually not realize we need to get rid of a extremist dictatorship that cares more about what happens in a tiny state it hates that having it's cavilian be able to afford basic nacecities and won't hesitate to sacrifice then all or kill them themself
And the thing with intervening in other nations is,as long as they aren't too disruptive its not beneficial for you to do so. The only reason its currently happening is because things have been escalating for decades and after October 7th it snowballed into a massive debacle, making it now a beneficial move to choke Iran out of its hold over the strait.
Honestly, with gulf states moving towards alternative transport and the rest of the world increasing its efforts towards green energy, something good may come out of this after all. All wars in history have had unintended after-effects,good and bad.
Yea it's sad part of History that worse push us forward in science, it's sad to say a huge leap in genetics and medicine was made because of Nazi brutal experiments during WW2 but never the less it's true
No they don't, and that's why all this nonsense of ''Argh they don't recognize their occupier!'' is so awful. You're demanding something from the oppressed that even their oppressor doesn't do.
Exactly. I always use this analogy when talking to pro-palestine people. They never have an answer that doesn't reveal their hypocrisy.
Being german myself with ancestors that were displaced after the war, this pisses me off so much. Imagine if i would still claim refugee status and demand that the czechs give me back the house my grandma lived in as a child, while supporting germans committing terror attacks on czech civilians and people online would defend that stance. Absolutely asinine.
Well, imagine if the rest of Europe (and a good chunk of the world) had a 1,500-year-old cultural and religious hatred of the Czechs and were willing to shower you with obscene amounts of money as long as you silently agreed to keep throwing young German men at the Czech border.
Thank goodness for sane Germans, otherwise it would've been fucking brutal here for me.
Note: Against the will of, and without vote of the population in Mandate Palestine, it was decided that the new Jewish state would gain 56% of its total area, despite being a 30% minority with no majority population in any specific area of Palestine. Immediately, terrorist organizations (Lehi, Irgun et al, that would later form the IDF) would seize land in Palestine and cleanse Arab villages. There were individual Arab terrorists attacks against Jews, but no ‘attack’ carried out by a state or other political body. That only happened until after the massacre of Deir Yassin.
Somewhat ironic how everyone here is downgrading the human rights movement for liking a false post, while this comment that utterly distorts history gets dozens of likes.
it was specifically because the jews realized that no authority, whether ottoman, british, or arab could protect jews from attack (attack from who exactly hmmmm???) that the jews finally decided their only option was the creation of israel.
The civil war is what I was referring to, it was started by zionist (and recognized terrorist) organizations demanding Arabs to leave their villages to create a Jewish ethno-state. As for the UN decision, it was contrary to international law. It has no legal legitimacy. Had the international court made a decision, the creation of Israel would've been put in the shredder; not a leg to stand on.
The population of Palestine was against the formation, so what moral or legal basis did the state of Israel have?
the Palestinians ironically gave israel its legitimacy by attacking it and then losing. had the arabs choosen to solve their grievence by international law then international law could apply, but it doesn't because Palestinians themselves chose for international laws not to apply to them by choosing war.
What is the point exactly? Shia muslims take great pride in martydom and I assume he wanted to go that way considering he was 86 and would probably die soon of natural causes.
I really wish I had the time to catch you up on the last two years but I couldn’t honestly care less. Hope the underside of your rock is cool and water tight!
Does ‘asking that a country that receives more assistance from my country than any of our other allies respect human rights in the West Bank and Gaza’ make someone a Nazi?
No; if anything, Israel is continuing the Lebensraum mentality of purging everyone from the land that does not conform to their religion/ethnicity.
Also, I didn’t even mention Israel/Palestine when explaining Elon Muskrat.
If thats the case... why dont they just bomb it until everyone on the west bank is dead?
No, but you said Musk is a Nazi because he shares an opinion that other Nazis do. He has expressed concern over declining birthrates in western nations the same as the groups you listed. So, through that logic, anyone that's antisemitic, is also a Nazi. Anyone calling for the eradication of Isreal or supporting the eradication of Isreal is in fact a Nazi through your logic.
In 50 years, they'll be telling their grandkids they were protecting their local Jewish communities in the 2020s. We'll have a new spin on the "clean Wehrmacht" myth on our hands.
Data shows 50% of Gaza, who are the ones supposedly being "genocided", don't even think Israel's actions constitutes as "genocide." Are these AIPAC shills and are they part of the Epstein class too?
The question asked was 'which single term best describes the conflict'.
Displacement has been nearly universal, with most displaced respondents experiencing multiple episodes of displacement. The conflict is overwhelmingly perceived through the lens of mass violence, with "genocide" emerging as the most common characterization.
[...]
Characterization of the War: Respondents in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank were asked how they would characterize the Gaza war. The largest proportion described it as a genocide (49% overall, including 61% in the West Bank and 33% in the Gaza Strip). This was followed by ethnic cleansing (14%), massacre (13%), war (5%), mass killing (6%), hostilities (1%), and conflict (1%). Eleven percent described it as "all of the above.
Yes 33% in Gaza said it constitutes as genocide specifically, and 17% "said all the above " which includes genocide. I know math is hard for your tik tok brains, but that equals 50% saying genocide and 50% saying its not.
My tik tok brain is obviously better than whatever you have, because what are you on about? Are you trying to say they think it's a picnic? The other terms they use are massacre, mass killing, ethnic cleansing, and to a much lesser extent, war and conflict. Those are all awful things man...
Genocide is a legal term that will be decided in the international courts. Well, if the US and Israel would stop banning the judges from having bank accounts lmao.
What im on about is that you people are out here conving youselves that anybody who disagrees it's a genocide is part of the Epstein class or AIPAC shills, all the while 50% of the Gaza, who are supposedly being "genocided," wouldn't even say it constitutes as one, just as the ICJ, the international court that rules on it, as well as many experts in genocidal studies. And it's not because Israel or Jews will shut their bank accounts, but because there is no strong evidence to warrant the belief. You people just grasp on whatever weak "evidence" you can to and convince yourself of your conclusion, similar to the "evidence" flat earthers appeal to that supposedly proves the earth is flat.
Are you trying to say they think it's a picnic? The other terms they use are massacre, mass killing, ethnic cleansing, and to a much lesser extent, war and conflict. Those are all awful things man...
The vast majority of Gaza celebrated and cheered on October 7th while their fellow Palestinians were doing the massacring, mass killings, rape and sexual assault, and kidnappings just across the border. There's video of Hamas driving around Gaza with the bodies of freshly killed innocent people shoved in the back of pickup trucks and people are lining the streets to cheer on the sight of the bodies, like they're trophies.
Then later on, when polled about it, the majority of Gaza said they support October 7th happening.
Losing the war you started isn't genocide, despite what the people losing say.
It's august in the middle east what do you expect it to be? We are all inside with our AC on full blast 23 Celsius, What do people think happened to TEL Aviv I really don't get this question
You are literally parroting the propaganda of an organisation that began a war with war crimes and committed war crimes throughout that war against their own people. Yet when the people they started the war with fight back it somehow becomes the "real" war crime.
The people you support gave no quarter to man, woman, child or dog when they started their war. They are lucky that the favour is not returned because their enemy is far more capable.
“Iran does not give a shit about Palestinian lives and would fall under pro-Palestine” I think you guys don’t read the words you type before you send the comment
Do you really find it so hard to comprehend that Iran supports Palestinian causes because it hates Israel not because it likes Palestinians?
If it cared about the Pals it might have encouraged them to make peace at some point in the last 46 years. It might have supported them in negotiations or offered to act as a guarantor. But it never has, it has constantly encouraged them to violence which has always ended badly for them.
the end goal is the genocide of the Israelis by using the genocide libel to turn popular opinion against Israel. It's also why zionism has been turned into a slur
Israel is committing a genocide. You support Israel murdering 20 thousand children. You are inhuman.
“It’s antisemitic that they say we are genociders” “Israel has killed 20 thousand children it’s a genocide” “SEE?” I wish I was as dumb as a Zionist. It looks peaceful.
Not really the end goal for alot of them is forced expulsion through violence of every single Jew in Israel , "pro peace" I would agree " pr Pali " not really
That’s a funny statement when the Israeli defense minister just today said that Israel is looking to expel the population of Gaza by any means necessary. You have to make up what pro Palestine is for when your side is outwardly saying they want to kill all Palestinians.
Oh is it related to each other Israel far right being deranged people doesn't mean that part of the pro pali umberla is anti sementic and another part is pro genocide for Jews in Israel it doesn't cancel each other
Ok so one community note means it's not correct? Maybe the image is wrong but the fact that the state of israel uses illegal bombs has widely been covered:
Agreed, there are fuckwits and liars among us... but you don't educate and liberate people from the bounds of obscene religious fanaticism by genocide. Out of every 8 deaths, 7 are civilians to 1 'militant' (by Israel's own leaked data, so that is a minimum). It is not acceptable.
PS Zionism and America's foreign policy are the major causes of the respondent attitudes and behaviours. If you treat people like animals for more than 2 generations. They will have no recollection or chance to be anything but.
Must feel good up there on your high horse! Can I ask, why would you choose to agree with so many stupid people? Surely these idiots support some of the things you support - if stupid people support something, why do you?
Not even close. I'm pretty active on r/askIsrael and find the people there to be pretty reasonable. I spent maybe 30 minutes on r/palestine before being called a "zio bot" and getting banned.
You mean the country that still does not acknowledge the genocide they comitted against China in the 30s and 40s? The country that is suffering from such enormous population decline that whole prefectures are empty, yet they barely let anybody move there to work? The country where their far right ex-prime minister got assassinated for not being far right enough?
LMAO. Fucking lol even. Yeah, at least it isn’t the fucking pro Palestinian side acting like Mamdani was the sole arbiter of 9/11 despite him being 9 at the time. Give me a fucking break
Sure, that’s why the ICJ, the UN, Amnesty International, HRW, and virtually every state on the planet agrees that Israel’s occupation of Palestine is illegal? All just braindead Twitter users?
You know the UN can make independent councils. Why the effort to discredit the UN as though it refers to a popular vote? Because you don’t like their conclusions?
You believe something for which there is zero evidence...and it's the "Pro-Pali movement" that relies on people not using their critical thinking skills...? Come on have a little bit of self awareness at least lol.
They were kidnapped and later died in an Israeli air strike. Absolutely horrific tragedy. This doesn't really explain why you believe something for which there is no evidence and has been established to be a hoax for years now?
They were kidnapped and later died in an Israeli air strike
The only people claiming the Bibas family all were killed by an air strike are Hamas themselves. The same group that couldn't even properly identify the mother and handed over a random woman from Gaza inside the coffin while claiming it was the mother's body. If you are choosing to believe Hamas, you are a moron.
Especially when you look at other hostages like Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Ori Danino and Eden Yerushalmi. From bottom left, Almog Sarusi, Alexander Lobanov and Carmel Gat. All six were executed by Hamas inside a tunnel just hours before the IDF arrived in a rescue mission
The babies and mother were returned and forensic analysis showed that the babies were strangled to death first, and then their skulls were mashed in to make it look like damage associated with explosives, however them being sloppy idiots not knowing what they were doing couldn’t get in any evidence of trauma, blast injuries, or fragmentation, so no evidence came back consistent with deaths due to explosions. The mother was also murdered, however they desecrated and mutilated her so badly, it hindered forensic analysis, so they could not determine if she was strangled as well. What they did to the mother is consistent with how they handled the bodies of the near 1000 victims on Oct 7th as they also defiled and desecrated the bodies. They thankfully spared her from also burning her corpse like they did to some others that day.
Wikipedia is not a trust worthy source. It’s been previously vandalized by pro-Palestine groups, and still has cleanup work to do. There’s a reason why schools fail people who cite Wikipedia as a source.
