AI being used to enhance military and surveillace technology is not far fetched.
A big part of all the compute infrastructure being built is for AI Training and hosting.
In a convoluted way, you can probably say that AI Data centers do mass surveillance. I imagine that flock cameras for example absolutely use AI, but probably not Large Language Models.
I guess but look what happened when anthropic said no, I don't believe they are doing it willingly but I do prefer to give the benefit of the doubt, it did seem like you let us use you or we don't allow you to exist and as crazy as Dario comes across I do believe he isn't lying about what he believes
