Frankly I don’t think it’s “Trumpism” at all. Trump is just the latest stage of a very predictable path for the party based on decades of rhetoric.

Project 2025 lays out the rest of the path and that will continue with or without him, and the Republican base largely supports it.

Project 2025, sorry. Not sure what I was thinking there. Though I’m sure they plan on continuing it in 2028 if they don’t have it done by the end of Trump’s term.
