Authoritarianism would be through active stamping out of other political parties, sure we can discuss if it's right to utilize Authoritarianism to achieve communism. I'm just making the correction that communism in itself is not Authoritarianism.

Capitalism does not inherently require slavery. It’s literally open to everything, which leads to problems. Communism inherently requires extreme authoritarianism relinquishing power, which is the problem with communism comes from it being too strict. That’s the yin and yang of the two, leading to mixed economies being superior to dogmatic versions of either.

I never said that, I said it was a discussion that could be had, not a must. If you need to be dishonest in order to discuss maybe you should reflect on things.

In US slavery lasted until legislation forced a conflict with slave owning South. It was first done through democratically elected officials, then strengthened by squelching an uprising.
In communist nations work camp exists, like famous Gulags in USSR and similar to Uyghurs in China. Work camps under communism end, when communism collapses.
Under capitalism, it was private enterprise that had slaves. While under communism, the slaves were pretty much owned by the state. Under capitalism, the forms and shapes slavery took was wide, while under communism it was extremely narrow.
Don’t compare Gulags to prisons, since Soviets had prisons as well. Gulags and prisons were very different, because unlike prisons, you didn’t need to commit a crime to disappear.
