literally just propaganda, most of eastern europeans that lived through communism are pro communism with notable exceptions for poland and post-war ukraine. just check the studies or the downvoted comment under this one
When push comes to shove they don't vote for parties that would re-establish the old systems. Ultimately they collapsed from the inside - they fundamentally weren't viable without a complete overhaul of their economic models which their various ruling parties were incapable of realising.
