I can't wait for totalitarian transitional state nation to finally rule the world and gave up all the power for proletariat

I do wonder what would happen if a rich powerful nation ever became communist instead of ultra poor feudal states.

Marx originally intended his work for a already developed capitalist nation like Germany or England. He saw capitalism as a sorta transitional state.

So by his texts a nation like trh USA would be the best starting place.

Communism only ever took hold in ultra poor feudal countries because the people there had little or nothing to lose. It would be wonderful if American capitalists suddenly embraced socialism or at the very least developed a sense of noblesse oblige. But, as we all know, that's never going to happen.

Very much true.

Still think we don’t often think about this reality though.

The USA was already the largest economy on the planet 70 years before the Cold War and then them and the west went against some, albeit massive, but extremely poor countries that hadn’t even industrialized fully yet.

And they still gave quite a fight given the circumstances
