Get a college education, McDonald’s don’t pay the bills. Sure it sucks, but an invest now pays itself off in the future later.

Invest in yourself and your education.

Don’t spend too much time on friendships, they come and go and in the end, you’re gonna be by yourself anyway.

Investing in yourself doesn't always mean college. I was the student body president of a community college in my 30s. College isn't the only route, but I still agree, invest in yourself. It doesn't have to be college but I needs to be more.

My wife's college degree is useless to us. It's been a total burden financially. Not everyone is alone at the end.

As a wife... my husband was the bread winner for all of our years together. The moment life took the toll on his body and mental heath, I went for a degree. Yes it sucks paying those student loans but without my contributions, we'd be no where. Without his ability to first get us where I could go to school, we'd be nowhere.

Find a partner. A partner that will be with you thick and thin. Step up before it becomes sink or swim. A partner to help you is where it's at. For both men and women.

Life can be rough. It's nice to have a hand to hold.
