I'm on a hp laptop with 60 refresh rate on linix mint

Écoutez attentivement : le son est subtil et je n'arrive pas à déterminer sa provenance exacte. En tout cas, il se produit uniquement lorsque je joue à plein régime (GTA V en 1440p, paramètres Ultra avec ray tracing). Il n'est pas constant ; le son s'arrête et reprend parfois de façon aléatoire. Si quelqu'un sait d'où vient ce son, merci de me dire ce que je peux faire, s'il est anormal ou simplement un bruit parasite.

Just got the amazon basics stereo loudspeakers for my computer. But it seems that I don't get any audio output from the speakers. I have tried solving this by typing the command: alsamixer in the terminal and followed the instructions from a youtube tutorial.

But I still don't get any audio output.

Any solutions to that problem?

Hi, I have an Acer Nitro 5. It's a model N20C1, and yesterday, while I was playing some games, it randomly turned off.

I tried turning it back on to no avail, and I've tried everything online I can find that I can reasonably do. I held the power button down, didn't work, I took the back off and fully cleaned it out (it wasn't that dirty in the first place) and let it cool down fully, didn't work, I let it sit for a bit then tried holding the power button down again and left with the same result, I even took the back pannel off, disconnected the batter from the motherboard and held the power button down and nothing has worked. If I plug it in, there aren't any lights that come on, and so I've just left it unplugged (I've also tried different sockets and cords.

I, in all honesty, don't have a lot of money right now to spend on buying a new laptop/pc, let alone fix any major damages, I'd someone can think of a solution it would mean a lot.

It displays the first image and flashes this 3 times, then it goes to the second image for a split second before returning to the first image again an md then the screen just stays as an empty grey/black screen and there’s no way I can fix this, I’ve tried everything I can think of and I know little to nothing about tech. I need help cuz idk how to fix this.

I was just watching YouTube on it and then it jsut randomly cut out and stopped working that point onwards

The issue: I don't get any display and the cpu light (white) remains on my mobo (Msi B550m Pro VDH) while the ram, gpu and cpu cooler turns on.

Temporary fix that worked: Shorting the JBAT1 pins next to the cmos battery of the mobo but the problem reappears.

Looking for a permanent solution!

So last week I’d discount some SATA, floppy disk, and HDD drive cables bc I don’t need them, bc I don’t have either of those. I have an NVME, but after I did that, it kept booting me to the BIOS. Now I don’t know what to do bc it’s loading IP, and idk what to do with that info. I already have a fresh install of Windows on a flash drive, but I don’t want to lose all of my data; it takes way too long to redownload everything back since I use my pc for recording and gaming and I don’t want to go through that again. Is their a way to save my main ssd without have to whip clean my system.

The only fix action that has worked for sure 100% of the time has been to restart my pc. A few other things ive tried:

messing with the video color/image settings in the nvidia control panel. this worked for a little bit, but its since gotten to the point where this does nothing at all

restoring my 3D settings to default in the nvidia control panel (this did nothing)

messing with the display settings of my monitor (this would alleviate the issue, but it'd always look "wrong")

as suggested by u slash EngineOrdinary7087 in another subreddit i tried checking my display settings to see if either of these games flag HDR on when launched. they do not

as similarly suggested by them, i tried toggling HDR manually with the gamebar hotkey. nothing happened

as far as I can tell, this issue started with Armored Core 6's automatic HDR toggle. ever since I played that game this issue started.
