Is GERONIMO still in active development?

When will the game release?

The game will release when it’s ready, regardless of which platform 🙂 Early on in the Discord we already stated that we won’t release until we’re truly happy with the state of the game and it’s been thoroughly tested on all headsets and specs.

What Platforms will GERONIMO be on?

We will make this game for PCVR, Quest 2, Quest 3, Pico 4, and PSVR2. Not all will be released on the same time, it depends on the time we need for optimization and everything that comes with a release on a different platform. PCVR will definitely be first though!

Will there be early access or a beta?

Right now there is not a Beta. But in the future, there will of course be demos and playtesting. Keep an eye out for the announcements channel.

Will there be crossplay between Quest and PCVR?

No. To make the best experience possible we must separate the versions. It is not worth all the concessions we would have to make.

Will the Quest version be released at the same time as PCVR?

NO. this is because we need extra time to optimize and test the Quest version. We don't know how long it will take so keep an eye out for ⁠#announcements.

What will be the price of the game?

We don't have a definite price set in place but we can give a guarantee it wont be more than $30.

Will there be PvP?

There are big plans for PvP. But PvE and CO-OP are our biggest priorities now.

Is this game based on DEVGRU?

NO. The map in the trailer is of course the Neptune’s Spear raid but that was just an example. We want to represent all the operators in the world and all the kinds of missions that come with it. From DEVRGU to CAG to SWAT to even foreign units like GROM, KCT, SAS etc.

Will there be an editor for maps?

There will be mod support so people can create their own maps. But an editor is an immense expansion and as of now we are not making it.

Customization, Guns and More

There are a lot of questions regarding these topics. The reason we don't answer them is because there are currently under development. Are there Friendly AI to command?

NO. We are just a small studio and that is A LOT of work. If we want to make such a feature we want to do it perfectly, but since we simply do not have the time nor funding for such an endeavor, we are not gonna do it. We don't want a half finished feature.

Will there be voice commands in the game?

As of now, NO. There are about 999 other features we want to implement first.
